Alto vxr pathetic fuel and cng average

Hi aoa im a student of bs and i have an alto vxr 2005model but it really worse on petrol and cng engine and ac is in very good condition but it gives me 9kmpl and 10on cng with ac it my first post so plz help me kunke main cng aur petrol bhara bhara ke thak chuki hoon
1)what the real average of alto?and how can i improve this to 14-13kmpl
2)why cng average is too low peoples says k ye alto mehran se zyada milage deti hy cng pr to mere kun nhi kiya masla hy plz guide im from Faisalabad

Alto vxr is a fuel guzzler. I don't think so you can get more than this with a ac.

Alto VXR is worst on petrol but its good on CNG.
You need to get it tuned with good mechanic.

My personal experience is totally different and it has changed my opinion about Alto. I own an Alto 2006 for the last 4 years and use it as a second or car for local use. I removed its cng and cylinder followed by changing brake fluid and brake service and last was changing the shocks. I adjusted the original fuel jets and used 2 x cans of carb cleaner with intervals. At present i get abot 400 km with 1 tank and if i travel on highway it touches 500 km. And changed tyres and front bearings as well. Now i think that in this budget it is best option. Lastly dont compromise on quality of parts and use right grade oil. All that i have written is my personal experience and i am enjoying good average for last one year plus.

Sell it and get a K6A swapped Alto of the same model with 4 speed automatic gearbox. It's a 660cc japanese engine giving 17-18 KM per Liter in city along with a chilled AC with no such reliability issues as well "IF THE JOB IS DONE BY A GOOD MECHANIC". Should be able to find it in about the same price range as well. Local 1000cc version Alto is notorious for being a fuel guzzler and unreliable.

Well please keep in mind that engine should remain clean from oil and dirt deposits for efficient heat exchange. Do get thermostat valve installed and fan should not be direct. Get your radiater drained and fill it with colant. Kindly ask any person at your home to tighten the 2 screws of radiator ( 1 in front and the other at back) to full. Later give 1.5 turn to front screw and 3 turns to one at the back. Give it a few days of running and observe the change. Hopefully you will benefit as i did and average will improve. Prayers

Aww sorry to disturb u again and again but im in trouble i recently changed engine oil havoline 20w50 as my car is 1.5lakh+ on odo recently change radiator cap with coolent but the fan is on direct but still the same average i really dont know why some says ke samll jet install kro and some says ke cng pr 18-20average deni chahiye

Actually, you would be able to find another one in the same price or even less. So swapping the car right now would save alot of funds in the future as well as save you from the hassle. Kindly, follow the help provided by other pakwheelers so you can get about 3-4 additional kilometers in a liter with the same engine if changing the car is not an option .

Well i have written my method of trouble shooting. When i bought it from a lady it was exactly in the same condition as you have described. Kindly get the thermostst valve as peteol needs a specific temperature to burn optimally. Rest read what i have already written. Hopefully you will find improvement. Seek help from any male member of your home and he can manage small things for you.
