Hmm Interesting..

2 year back a cow come in front of my car driving @ 70km... Try to safe my self from big collision but cant.. First move the car a left side then whr some other cars are parked try to move right but gap is to short between road divider & hit right front of car ..Major damage on driver side tyre,Rim,bumper,light gone .....

Old Anti suddenly come & say "PUTTER TU THEEK HAIN" I see her face & with smile replied "MAJ BACH GYI" Warna 3 lak ve dyny panydy ty gadi ve theek karwani pandiii....

Datsun 120Y VS Full grown GSD....

GSD running crossing the road...came right in front of Datsun sideways....and disappeared...

we heard grumbling sounds under the car....GSD appeared again from rear end of car and went its way....we also continued in mute mode

Brand New unregistered Mehran white with matching white shiny bumpers...coming back from motorway...near home, approx. 30 km/h a dog hit left side of bumper....breaking the bumper, headlamp, bonnet was bent, radiator displaced, rad fan making clattering sound..

Dog was unhurt, only left piece of fur in a crack of bumper

My friend Usman ( @u4usman4u @ pakwheels) had hit a pig on speed above 70 km/h on Islamabad highway. According to him he was traveling at about 80 to 90 km/h with his family about 1 o clock in night. Suddenly a pig came in front of him. He had only time to break a bit so impact speed was 70km/h. He was driving santro at that moment.

He and his family were all safe however his car had got damaged badly. Front bumber was all gone, radiator broken, impact came to Ac condenser, he had to change it as well. So he had about 40k worth of damages overall.

He also told after impact, the pig just got up and ran away. So his car was wrecked and there was hardly any damage to pig. I will check if he have pic of his car wrecked at that point.

I got a hit from a dog while comming from a long hectic tour near Okara some time back... the car got some major damages in Bumper, front girdor, one front complete beam, bonnet, front emblem, radiator, AC gril, Radiator fan, ac gas ... and a lot more....

car engine switched of immediately and I pushed it to side...

How it happened:
the Dog had a collar and was (supposedly lost) and was chased by stay dogs when it jumped in front of car... I did not switched lane because that could have turned fatal and car could have flipped, I applied brakes but was to late ...

after the incident I saw dog front leg was broken and it was whining I noticed its color and asked a shop keeper he called the owner who after some checking with other people traced the owner who was already on look out he came and thanked me to stay there for his pet I was not mad on him as he was already too worried and was thinking I will bash him ... but I took it as my bad luck and asked the insurance guys to arrive they came took pictures took the car and I came home with dad...

After one week I got the car back with roughly 90k repair slip ... thank God it was insured

Advise :

Dont make a sharp cut if the animal is not as big as a Cow or a horse .. becuasse that will put u in even more danger... if the animal is a dog/goat/cat e.t.c.. stay straight and applly full time brakes.. let the animal decide on which side he wants to evade the situation ..

I hit a dog a few days back on gt road from islamabad to mirpur. He just stood in the center of the lane and wasn't moving. I was at 100 km/h and a guy was overtaking me from the wrong side. So I just grabbed my steering strongly tried to apply brakes as much as I could but sadly it was still fatal for the dog. My cars bumper got displaced. Although no dent was there.
Advice to others from my side is when something like this happens always remember saving your and your familys life is more important than saving the dogs life. A lot of people die trying to save the animal in panic. Keep your nerves calm hold steering firmly with both hands. Always wear seatbelts.

Never try to maneuver around the animal.. Keep your hands tight on the steering wheel and apply brakes..

I am living in saudia. here are too much camels, sometimes they come on highways. accident with camel is very dangerous. cos his weight is on height, when any car hit him, he come on car's roof and with his too much weight any person come down him, very less chances to survive. my uncle's friend was died in collision with camel.

Last year at 2.00am at m2 near bhera interchange at 170kmh speed suddenly a dog came out from somewhere i still apply straight brake but at approx.. 120kmh it hit my car and cost me around 1 lakh and 12 thousand

Racer bhae.. sorry to hear about your loss. The good part is you are safe. Otherwise it's very serious. .

On the side note. You were 50km/hr over speed limit.. so if you apply brake at this speed your braking distance will be much longer and a very very less reaction time. Anyways better to remain with in limits.. Drive safe..
