AoA. I have got Honda City ivtec 1.5 manual 2018. Had 3 months inspection and oil change today. The Honda Fort guys filled in 0-20 grade Genuine Honda Oil. My question is that is such grade suitable to 1.5 manual engine?

No problem keep using 0w-20 it's recommended..Because newer engine wants thin oil for good performance and fuel efficiency

Experts can advise better but city comes with 5W30 from factory. Same is recommended as per our climate. Its a more than 10 years old engine technology at that time 0w20 wasn't available easily.
Stick with 5W30, same is recommended by honda. 0W20 is for civic

0w20 is being recommended by Honda for City. I myself am using the same oil and fuel economy is very good.

Who told you 0w-20 is only for civic? Honda now recommends 0w-20 for all cars..even paksuzuki recommends 0w-20 for wagonr in its manual book..I'm also using it in my 2015 aspire which is 110000km driven now

It's strange. I have City 1.5 2018. Recently I have visited Honda Chenab(Fsd) for oil change and they used 5w30. I think this is what is written on oil cap too. Confused.....
