first do the basic tune checks of valve clearances and timing belt alignment etc, then do a proper fuel pressure test and injector leak down test, also check that the fuel pressure regulator is not leaking from the vacuum port.

After that you need to take to a place that has an emmissions sniffer to test the exhaust - then the trim adjuster is used to tune it. Its not easy business and you may screw it up really bad if you dont know what to do exactly.

These all testing are for which purposes as above mentioned. And where can i get this service in lahore not rip offs.

Secondly i get it checked up from some mechanic again he told that main chamber seal is leak and 2 other seals and power pump has leak but in drops.

some of the "racer" gauges are live - try one of those.

In an ideal world I would like to have 4 temp gauges, 1 for the front of the cylinder head, 1 on the rear, on the cylinder block and one for engine oil.

Salam xulfiqar bai....... need ur openion aboit this strang problm..... i hv started a thred sepratly too abt ths.....
Engine jerks or missing on high rpm or speed over 90kmph in mehran euro2 on petrol while on cng it is smooth. I hv checked by removing air way blockage. Also i hv tried by removing the emulator wiring and by pluging the stock sockits of fuel injectors but problm is there.... i hv also checked the electric supply to all the three injectors... dats normal.... then wht may b da reason of these constant jerks on hi rpm

high rpm misfire is usually caused by ignition problems, If you keep on running it with misfire the catalytic converter will melt and become blocked causing even more misfire.

If I engage my parking brake and turn on an indicator, the parking brake light in the cluster dims when the indicator turns on and brightens when it turns off,

During this the temp gauge also moves up and down, but that can only be noticed of you look closely

What can be causing this? Battery terminals are nice and tight

you have bad ground (earth) to the gauge cluster. remove the cluster and check for dirty connections and also clean out all body grounds. There should be a ground strap for the firewall in the engine room. Suzuki were not very generous with providing such points.

Yes I was suspecting that, today I tried an italian tune job, the car would keep running for 2 sec after I pulled out the key so I wanted to remove carbon, despite all that revving, the temp gauge did not cross 25 percent, so I guess the gauge is not accurate in this condition.

Btw what do you think, what may be causing the diselling?

Are their any bushes in the gear lever assembly of margalla that need replacement? I sometimes have trouble changing gears.

the service mileage is set at fixed intervals, The older cars had a flexible system that was not fixed. If the cars are showing those then they have not been reset or they just have been the subject of.

those cars are usually so lacking in maintenance that it requires some deep pockets or even tax write offs to repair.

Take it to a lift - raise it and check the underbody and all rubber items - try to move them with a strong rod. If they move they need replacement. Check the ball joints and tie rods - they are weak points. Check for leaks and missing pieces.

Locate a shop that has a proper MB scan unit and ask to test all the modules in it. Specifically ask for the clutch adaptations in the gearbox to know how worn down it is. Note down all logged and previous faults.

Inspect the car generally and drive it - it should drive correctly. All functions should operate correct.

Inspect the supercharger for any noise etc and listen to the engine as it starts. If its noisy or rattly you need a timing chain job soon.

Ask the seller for all keys that they have - make sure all work.

some people here run old one cylinder diesels on a mix of burnt lube oil and condensate.. not a reliable method but effective nonethe less...

lng/cng/lpg all can run on diesel... but i cant find data on condensate..

this condensate is something between petrol and matti ka tail..

good stuff - usually OE on japanese cars. At par with Hitachi and Nissin - all usually are gone by 50,000 kms or earlier depending on the car.

you can run diesel engines on

1 ATF
2 corn oil
3 vegetable oil
4 heated ghee
5 diesel - duh
6 diesel + kerosene
7 oil + kero

all make the engine run but all except diesel and diesel+kero hurt the injection system

e.g. ever seen a frying pan and its burnt grease - imagine that in the injection pump and nozzles ---- sorry Im not cleaning that.
