Are their any bushes in the gear lever assembly of margalla that need replacement? I sometimes have trouble changing gears.

yep - you can take it out and inspect - then get a rod of teflon or PTFE, find a machinist and get him to make some fresh ones.

If not - then PS still sell the gear bushing kit.

Should the distributor vacuum advance be getting vacuum from carburetor if I rev it at idle, I want to test that the hose is connected to the correct place

Brothers I have a question, what best security one can have to secure corolla GLI ? I have purchased late 2011 and almost everyone is telling me stories about high ration of corolla stolen ?
I had thought of using LOCK in Cut but people say it will cause damage to steering.

the vacuum advance pipe is connected directly to the back of carb.it should work slightly above idle

My stock engine, Civic 98, Is making a bearing type of noise only at 1600-1700 RPM.
It seems to be coming from inside the engine itself. The left side(where the distributor is)

Any idea what it may be?

The ustad had good intentions but I guess he lacked experience with carburetors, when the car came home I plugged in 3 pipes myself but I missed this mistake

remove the distributor and spin it by hand - if you hear a rough bearing then you need to change the distibutor shaft bearing. Its deep inside but is removable easily.

Be sure to change the oil seal inside the distributor too.

dear zulfiqar , i have 1974 toyota mark2 rebuild my prob is that petrol smells in car all the time all the pipes chaged fuel pump place sealed no leakage in pipes its fuel tank is behind the rear seat and now silencer smoke also comes inside as no leakages in silencer pipe as well. now kindly guide my wat shud i do now??? thanx

Does the distributor get vacuum from intake manifold or carburetor?

I think it is supposed to be connected here at the intake manifold.

My car is finally fixed, I never expected so much improvement, @syncview did the magic, I never expected such skill, no ustad bla bla bla could fix it and he did it in four hours.

All I did was connect the vacuum lines correctly, vacuum pod mount plates were bent, straightened them, connected the solenoid wire and adjusted the idle speed and fast idle...And cleaned the linkages :d

Bro inshAllah I will visit you this weekend. The car is running perfect, alot of torque at the low rpm range.

All hichki problems are completely gone, I had fun with a ricer on the way back

Mercedes C200 2007-08, am getting these message on my friend car.
ESP inoperative, Run flat indicator inoperative, SRS Right Front and Left Inoperative and Airbag light is appearing and Brake pad wear.
Brake pads are weak n he recently put stitched seat covers. How to fix/off them?

@bhurgari for how long these errors are ON. - You need to get the vehicle scanned, any front end accident in recent past ? suspension rework, shock absrober replacement or wheel damage over hard pavement?

brake pad when worn out need replacment no other choice, what seat covers have to do with an error??
