these are the conditions of coils, decoking is not the issue at this time. i know there is something wrong with the current flowing to coils either due to some wiring issue or some other reason. Need ur guidance abt how to trace the issue myself rather then playing in hands of electricians.

WOAH......

thats really bad - when I had this sort of problem in a car, it was internally shorted coil. Trace the wiring back to the PCM for any shorts. And also check the main relay(s) wiring.

I have seen several dozen or so melted rubber legs on the spark plug boots.

Aoa I will be really greatful if someone here can help me. I bought 1952 willys put a 3s engine. Once I started it the engine sound was not normal and viberatortion too so ask a macanic to check it he serviced the throttle body and changed the plug s too but now it s even worse it's miss firing like hell. I even had the police come over in the morning when I tried to start the jeep. Plzzzz help

zulfiqar bro.i have a civic 96 with original ac system.i encountered few problems last season.ac putting load on engine and there was cooling in intervals with compressor engaged all the time.further there is condensation/water droplets on compressor.seems like refrigrant flow is restricted.is this a bad expansion or compressor needs replacment.also there is humid air coming from vents not completely dry air.
plz suggest on above.

check the refrigerant pressures, sounds like really low pressure.

last season ac guy checked both side pressure.it was 40-45 psi on low side and around 240psi on high side.as per him expansion valve might be stucked else compressor needs replacment.plz recommend proper diagnosis for this issue

i wanted to two things regarding my car's carburetor

is it supposed to require the accelerator pedal to be tapped before starting to engage choke?

and

should the choke disengage (i feel an rpm drop) if i tap the accelerator.

no - factory plugs are good.

40 psi low side and 240 high sounds healthy -check the vent blend doors for problems.

@Xulfiqar: My 86 corolla gets misaligned it self, couple of weeks after proper alignment. Car is raised from front with silver rings which sits on top of shocks mounting: usually wheels gets SETBACK which I can feel while taking U turns (left & right) difference. Whereas, the alignment guys say that nothing is wrong with suspension. Shocks are new and steering rack is in good condition. Please guide what should be the proper height of the car and how to measure it. tyres are 16580R13.

I showed the car to an alignment guy who said you need to replace your left front axle. He said used one is about Rs.7,000 and new is quite expensive. Can you please guide me accordingly.

Oh I forgot to mention, car is Toyota Belta 2007 model original mileage when purchased was around 43,000 kms and current is 51,000 kms

your accord takes BPR6EY-11 spark plugs as factory items - gapped to 1.1mm, they are cheap and plenty available. You can also use BCPR6EY-11 or BKR6EY-11.

These also were factory items in the old corollas.

For oils you are good with a quality mineral engine oil with lots of ZDDP - caltex delo gold 15w40 is best in this case.

Thats about right for cv joints for this car. The Rs 7000 kit would be chinese too as the factory axle kits are quite pricey. If you change them make sure your mechanic listens to you and installs the provided CV joint grease.

You have raised the car which will cause the camber to go out of specification, which in turn will affect caster too as the top of the struts have moved from the original location.

Alignment shops try to readjust the camber by grinding down the knuckle carrier bolts, which never work because the the ground down bolt can only hold it under compression tension, It will be thrown off immediately when you drive on a rough road.

Best remedy is to remove those spacers and align it to factory specification.

my car burns oil, is it safe to switch to this from havoline 20w50?
