chimta is lower control arm, its called qenchi in karachi.
it has a ball joint on its end where the spindle connects (spindle is the part where the wheel bearing is housed) - the chimta have rubber bushings on their mounting point on the car, if the bushings are shot, you need to replace the bushing or arm depending on the car you have.
when tightening, make sure the whole spindle is jacked up so that the wheel is at normal loaded position. If the mechanic tightens it with wheel hanging down, the bushings will tear apart in a few months.
