I bought OBD Bluetooth interface KONNWEI .
Paired it with Samsung.
Downloaded paid version of Torque

Finally connected it to Vitz 2006
The ECU does not connect End of the story
Then I bought a USB ELM 327 interface
Did all the same
Tried different softwares
No response

Where AM I going wrong
Please advise.

the konnwei bluetooth are known to be dead out of the box, its got pretty bad circuitry in it. The reliable one is the BAFX. For the USB ELM interface, did you test that the comm port is actually working and with correct baud rate.

I would like some help from fellow Pak-Wheelers regarding the issue I posted earlier. I recently had my ECU wiring changed from Toyota Motors (Abpara Islamabad - This was their diagnosis for the Check Engine Light. I went ahead and got it changed, car has been working fine since then - The car was breaking down earlier).

After a while, the check engine light appeared again. Upon diagnosis we read the error code of "System too lean". Now the three possible sources of the error given to me by the Toyota diagnosis technician were:

1. Dirty MAF sensor.

2. Clogged Fuel filter.

3. Bad fuel pump.

I had the MAF sensor cleaned and ran the car for about 1 week without any issues in which we went back and forth from DHA Phase 2 to Islamabad multiple times in a single day.

No problem appeared nor did the Check Engine Light turn on. But today as I was driving to my office the Check Engine Light came on and I felt a loss of power in the acceleration - not a lot but there was detectable power loss.

Through out the week that I drove the car I did feel at times that the engine was forcefully pulling fuel at times causing the whole car to jerk (at idle).

• Now, my first question is, that could it be that the fuel pump has gone bad? Does a bad fuel pump have any particular symptoms that I need to watch out for? or is it the fuel filter.

• My second question is, which Fuel filter is installed in the Belta? I don't know which one is installed, but from what I read on this forum I have concluded that I could use the fuel filter for the 2010 Toyota Corolla GLI?

The guys at Toyota have told me that they will have to order the filter and it will cost around PKR 15,000. A shop at Saddar has told me the cost for the filter as 6600 (OEM filter). Noone told me the part code though, the guy at the Saddar shop simply said that the same filter as that installed in Vitz will be used.

NOTE: The fuel filter is due for a change anyways...

These two pieces do not read Toyota With every configuration that is tested .
Pc and mobile connect with the USB and BT ELM but ELM does not connect with ECU
Please advise .

system too lean causes:

-Bad MAF - diagnose using obd or other interface
-vacuum leak after the MAF - includes the possibility of a stuck open PCV valve / bad breather hoses
-bad fuel filter / pump - check fuel pressure - mechanical gauge needed
-leak before or around the AF/O2 sensor which also includes exhaust manifold gasket.
-non working or clogged fuel injector - can be diagnosed easily by a toyota tech

vitz is a JOBD spec vehicle, AFAIK ELM327 has problems connecting to those

Started to face it for last 2 weeks. One technician said that cylinder needs to be replaced, Toyota guys said that no problem with any thing as computer test did not identify any issue and booster is producing enough pressure. But then why this issue, even though it happens only for few seconds but still can be very harmful.
Please tell me what can be the problem? Car is running on petrol.

Does pedal go all the way down without applying brake?

This also happens with me. When i press the brake in first or second gear, i feel that the brake pedal is getting stuck and the brake is not actually applied. I have Corolla GLI 2010. Brakes work well in higher gears. Pleas help me. Thanks in advance

worn out o2/AFR sensor - if its contaminated with coolant/silicone etc. replace it with new.
bad EGR (where applicable) - leaking EGR will mimic lean condition

to the person requiring assistance.
check the fuel trims at idle/1500 and 3000 rpm, post results here.

Dear Xulfiqar bhai...... I have another problem with my car, this is happening second time. After driving around one hour, when in idle i press the clutch the rpms go high around 2300. and the engine check light comes on. The last time this happened and then the mechanic guy told me that clutch plates are done, i changed the plates (in Aug this year) and the problem somehow changed, but now same thing is happening. Also when this happns, the car looses the pick. Is this the clutch again or something else? and can it b so that clutch plates are done in this time period? please help me.

scan tool wont tell you anything about the brake booster vacuum. When was the brake fluid flushed out?

I own a Alto VXR 2003 Since the last 4 months, I have been getting this problem from suddenly today. Whenever I turn on the AC a strange foul smell like that of a dead rat arrive. But that smell fades out in around a minute while car running.
This smell increases to more than double the strength when I switch off the ac and only blower fan is on. This is so strong that I have to switch it off to avoid vomiting and open the windows.
I recently changed engine oil, filter from mechanic and he is also checked ac coil, did not found anything.
I have also service my car from PSO, under bonent did not find anything
can i open dashboard to check if see any thing dead inside
one thing more while turning off AC inside car didnot smell anything, just started this smell when fan is on,also sprayed air freshener but didnot worked
please help me out

@xulfiqar bro....I have a mini pajero 2008 model 660cc...its very much patrol consuming and i it shifts gear on 4 to 4.5 rpm...what problem does it have??

other which gear oil should i use?
and what should i doo too make my car lil fast...
