The problem seems in Distributor or its Wires.
Does it knock also?

I drove Lancer 91 model for more than an year and drove it about 25~30K with its fan in auto mode, thermostate valve well placed, and PCV valve was working. Even in hottest & driest summer, I never put its fan on direct mode. (Mechanics always suggest this stupid act for doing fan on direct mode, which they don?t know either).
I used Delo Gold 15w-40 diesel engine oil and car was mechanically super fit.
Solute to Xulfiqar who guided me to make my ride super strong.
People hardly get mileage as 7 km/l with Lancer who has Piston Wala Carburetor. But I was getting 10km/l within city with AC.

Use to get 12km/l with my cat eye lancer (H)

the 4K was painted black, the orange/red was the 3K, the older 2K and K engines had turquoise green like datsuns

@Xulfiqar Sir my car santro 03 got new Plugs, plug wires, and ignition coils all OEM, After few thousands KMs I have noticed a small amount of miss fire in various gears. last night checked in dark, and noticed a small spark around the plug side and coil side boots on wires. I open wires and tape it with insulation tape, now the misfire disappear with still small sparks, my question is "small amount of sparks allowed or not in ignition system"

Note: a mechanic 3 days ago opened the plugs for rubbing with sandpaper and sprayed contact cleaner all over the plugs & its threads.

nitto tape does not work above 500V, your coils are firing at 20 KV - replace the wires with new ones if they are leaking.

call up cummins Pakistan Ltd and ask for their servicing rates - They have the best test bench and best clean room for diesel work - and they have all proper data for such pumps too.

reason to say the above is that even with a brand new injection pump, if your installation is bad the engine will run bad. - There was a person in karachi who bought a diesel injection pump from UK for his 5 cyl diesel mercedes, after install it was still hard to start, ran bad and sounded like an earthmover - because the install job was hopeless.

After retiming it correct the sound was perfect, then I took his original pump - had it calibrated by cummins, installed it correctly as Mercedes requires and the car was beautifully perfect after the job. - He was quite annoyed on himself for wasting money on buying the pump from UK.

precis = pump calibration is half the job, pump install is the other half. on 4M41 its electronic so the install part is treated as diagnosing the faults correctly - namely the speed sensors output, the rack fuelling lever positioning system etc. etc.

It basically is a zexel built bosch ve pump clone under all that gadgetry - the fuelling is controlled electronically rather than oldschool levers.

2C as you see offered by Indus motors is plain saada saada engine - 2C-L is loaded with emmissions gear like EGR, afterglow etc.

Question: How to bed in new/sanded drum brakes for motorcycles and in cars. And is there a specific grit sand paper should we be using only while sanding drums and drum shoes?

use a 100 grit to clean drums and discs, you can buff them too with a wire wheel brush.

OK. Can you please guide how can I bed in car rear drum shoes? I am confused bedding them as we bed in front disc pads since front pads engage before the rear pads that makes it a bit tricky bedding the drums or we can use hand brake to bed them may be?
And can I use the same method you taught me once by going easy on brakes for first 500 KMs to bed in motorcycle drums too?
