Xulfiqar bhai i have purchased vitz model 2010 31k on odo but its pick is very slow car reaches 60km/h ver slowly n engine sound is too much. I have done follwing work from magic motors .
1: change plugs orignal toyota irridium
2: change cvt oil genuine toyota
3: throtle body service
4: injectors cleaning
5: check catalytic converter he said catalytic converter is clean no need of cleaning.
6: scan n tune
7: change filters

But after all work my vitz pick is same as before.. I have spent 13k today but zero improvment pick is same engine feels load on low rpms n at high rpms engine sound is soo high. Plz tell me the real problem n solution now what should i do ?

such service at 31K?? why did you do that?

Your car is CVT and in its entirety it cannot move quickly - its the nature of it, I have a CVT vehicle and even when trying to accelerate fast it does not respond like a geared transmission.

Unless your car is literally a dog's breakfast and refuses to move properly I dont see why a new car would require such service. In your scan what did the mechanic tell you about the fuel trims and other data?

He just tell me p1589 acceleration learning sensor problem. And he said there is problem in ur gear box , after 1st gear car directly goes to 3rd according to him.
I did that service bcz pakwheel member recommend me to do so bcz may be 31k is not genuine reading

Sounds like your tech is a moron, the CVT has no gears at all. there is no 1st, 2nd, 3rd. And when the p1859 was registered - did he recalibrate it? It takes a about 30 minutes to do all the yaw and lateral sensor calibration, fuel pressure calibration etc.

When doing the zero point calibrations the car should be a completely flat surface and not moving in any plane (no people moving in and out or mechanics working on it)

Is your car SRS lamp ON? The acceleration sensor is not in the transmission - its in the air bag sensor assembly.

That is your P1589 code problem.

What brand and model of scan tool does your mechanic have? If he only owns a cheap reader then he cannot help you, you need a deep level tool for this job, Toyota techstream can do this and higher end launch, actron, autel etc can do that too.

Zulfiqar bhi u missed mine kindly suggest me solution

Xulfiqar bhi my car on petrol gone crazy its civic 2003 manual when I drive it on petrol its pick is too bad even on normal road on hill section its even gone worse. Its too slow ... on normal road its comparatively little better . And another thing on normal road first slow pick rpm stuck between 3-4 thn all of sudden moves above 5 n car goes like rocket

Now i will go to toyota 3s and ask them to scan. It means cvt. is ok and problem is just p1589 sensor and ask them to recalibrate ?

Get magic motors to do it, they charged you money already, its their job to give you a proper and detailed diagnosis report. The calibration can only be done with correct working parts. If your car has air bag deployed already you need to change the SRS control unit too..

Zulfiqar bhai have you used delphi scan tools, a friend has a delphi scanner that has one part that connects into obd port abd the others part resembles a smartphone.

He originally got it for his bmw but claims it can do anything that the toyota tool can do.

yes I have used the delphi scan tools - there are many many models of it, The ones I used were on Ssangyong vehicles with the Mercedes Benz diesel engines but with Delphi HPCR fuel injection system.

no idea, it can be a lot of things.

sir just checked-the sound was coming from the strut bar bushings.asked the spare part shop,2000rs for the oem and 650rs for the pakistani bushings.are these pakistani bushings any good??

I have a Suzuki baleno 2005 recently bought and it has issue with its brakes, sometimes it seems that there is no pressure in the brake pedal and it goes right to the floor with minimal braking and sometimes it acts normally and seems that nothing is wrong.
I got the brakes serviced, changed the pads, bled the brakes twice and have gotten the disks tooled as well but no change. Is it brake cylinder or something else and one more thing the brake oil is not leaking, has been checking it for the last week no droplets and no drop in the level of reservoir.
Ur expert opinion is required as the brakes are acting very strangely, get very spongy sometimes and is very difficult to drive in heavy traffic.
