@xulfiqar would you be kind enough to explain the complete repainting process. Which material to use, type of primer to be applied and should the body be stripped of all paint till bare metal is exposed.

I have spoken to 2 painters and they advised me not to strip the paint as it also strip the anti corrosion coating from the car body also. What i have searched on the internet that epoxy primers needs to be applied to bare metal to save it from corrosion. You guidance needed.

@Xulfiqar Can you please shed some light on "Converting an OBD2B Distributor to OBD1?" Im trying to run F20B on OBD1 wiring but the distributor's wiring don't match. Tried doing a research over the web but there's more about OBD2A rather then OBD2B.

The OBD2B doesnot have rpm signal because ecu controls it. You will need to add this wire to wire harness if you go to OBD2B to OBD1. Didn't you get your f20b with its distributor and wiring?

The OBD2B doesnot have rpm signal because ecu controls it. You will need to add this wire to wire harness if you go to OBD2B to OBD1. Didn't you get your f20b with its distributor and wiring?

Its with its own distributor but the wiring is not in a good nick and so it was planned to use a chipped p08 ecu so thats another reason for using the OBD1. can u explain this by any picture or diagram that how this wire will be added?

Xulfiqar sir my bike cg125 is having all symptom of bad breather pipe exhaust is extremely dirty,oil stain on cranckcase and whistle sound from cranck case I replaced breather pipe but nothing improved instead I saw a great reduction of engine oil 750ml in 1k km :o what could be the reason BTW I though to try ahl oil and to my surprise ahl is selling oil without mentioning api grade is that allowed?

Obd1 distributor has two plugs and nine pins in it. It has blue or white rpm lead. Obd2b has small plug and has total 7 pins in it. Obd2b doesnot need rpm signal as P2P or P28 controls it. If you do obd2b to obd1 then you need to add this rpm signal lead into your wiring harness it is blue or white.

Yeh I've been through this in the past reasearch, have downloaded a couple of diagrams as well. Lets see what comes out.

Why not getting any D series from the 90's? Even i have seen 7th gen's D series getting into EG's and EK's, whats the specific point of getting the iVTEC motor from the City?

It wont be a reliable swap imo, you gonna need new mounts, new gearbox, new axles, tricky wiring job, unbalanced engine position cuz no one has done it till now. Get yourself a good old D motor. Your car is on Carby I believe, your current gearbox, mounts, axles will be utilized and the wiring job wont be an issue and trust me a healthy D isn't gonna disappoint you.

L15 in eg? Why would anyone do it. Get a decent D15/D16 you'll be good to go.

That's what i tried to tell him. @civic19952 if you need an economical daily driven then get any D series motor or else get a B, H, or F motor. K Series is also an option and it would be a cherry on the top, same is the case with the B series but these two redheads ain't cheap. So in short just identify your needs, further its your car, your money, your own choice.
