I've got my ride again checked from another electrician.
He checked each and every electrical part.
A tester for joined between the negative terminal of the battery and the negative wire.
We checked every thing by unplugging them , but when we unplugged the Gauge cluster , the complete cluster having speedometer , odo meter etc the current simply dissapeared.
When again it was plugged the current drain again started. I can understand that some current is used for the clock , mileage memory but the current consumption should not be constant.
What i cant understand is that is it possible that a speedo/gauge meter cluster can drain current?? electrician is saying that the cluster needs to be repaired and checked as to why is it using current constantly.
please advise how i should solve this problem? he might end up ruining the cluster panel.
