There may be some leakage. Do you hear air sound or if a truck passes by fills the smoke in the car?

But sir g this was not the case with previous pads. Why so now. Brakes are scary. In emergency the car ll not stop immediately. So what to do with ABS?

if your car has ABS with external mounted relcutor wheels for the sensors and your mechanic has been merry with "regmaal" on the relcutor wheel - then your ABS is seeing lots of noisy signals and activating. ABS equipment is always cleaned by wiping with cloth or with nylon brushes to clean the reluctor.

the above is assuming its an ABS problem - it maybe something else and needs hands on diagnosis first.

@xulfiqar i am using Havoline 5W30 conventional in VQ35DE as it is just lil bit over 160k kms, with Bosch Premium oil filter. This oil is very cheap around $14 for 5qt jug and seems like VQ likes it, is this right oil for this engine. I guess the book calls for ester oil but it cannot be sourced near me.

that oil is pretty good itself. You can choose to use penzzoil platinum 5W30 as its very tough oil and has extremely great cleaning properties and protects in even very harsh conditions.

The filters available for nissan VQ are not the best usually - dont buy bosch filters, they are not worth the money they want, Get some purolator pro-one, WIX or Napa Gold filters. I usually buy filters by the dozen and oil by the bucket, it saves me money in the long run.

my question is related to Xli 2010.
i need to know that if wiring is already done for rear speakers or it has to be done afterwards ?
& also that if holes are to made behind the rear seats for rear speakers.

Aoa xulfiqar bhai.. I bought a nissan dayz which has a push start.. as u know all push start cars produce a beep sound when locked unlocked or when the key is removed when the car is started but incase of my car there is no sound. Other dayz give a beep sound! What can be the reason and how can i fix it? Plus when the car is started there is a beep in the interior for like 3-4 times when the car is started but it is not being produced as well. Please tell me the solution asap as i want the dealer to fix it for me.. plz plz.. thankyou.

Pennzoil 5W30 fully synthetic GF-5 would be better option, would use it next time with Purolator. For brake pads should i go with AC Delco or Akebono? Akebono costs twice the price of ac delco for ceramic pads.

on Nissan I usually use their OE supplier Hitachi, they are pretty good brake pads IMO.

Have akebono and ac delco available near me, akebono one would be better.

akebono have multiple flavors, one is a ceramic one some are organic grade and some are semi metallic. the ceramic one does not shed dust but requires the brakes to be hot before they become effective.

AC delco pads are nice too, I usually use them for GM applications are they are OE to GM. Raybestos brakes are very high quality too if you get their pro grade.

I have city 99 i feel outside noise is much more as compared to new cars. Is these cars are manufactured in this way or our mechanic showed some karigari? If 99 city is manufactured by keeping low outside noise then what could be the issue of noise?

I don't have ac pipe firewall grommet installed in firewall mechanic tore it. Also don't have grommet inside the fender where wires come to under dash also don't have handbrake wire grommet. Majority of these rubbers are not available. Can you please tell me its alternative ...
I want to reduce noise of outside as new car have peaceful cabin. Is there any thing available that i spray to hole it rubberized?

i am setting up a 1jzgte vvti from a JZS171 Toyota crown Majesta, maybe you remember in a Nissan skyline R32 gtst 4 door. so far the car is ready but i am stuck with the MAF sensor configuration. i have connected three different maf sensors but the ecu doesnt correct the AFR, and the engine keeps runing rich and crapy. lots of back fires, and black smoke, and no rev limit, rpm goes around 8k.

the ecu i am using is of Auto gear but i have a manual gear, i dont think so it should be a problem as i read on supra forums that the ecu just gives auto gear sensor codes, but the engine runs fine with the manual gears. i need someone to check my wiring or give me some kind of information which can help me out. perhaps a troubleshooting flow.

The chime is either turned off or the speaker/buzzer is dead - its usually part of the body control module in nissan wiring. Does your car give you the option of changing these settings from the steering/odo buttons etc? Some later nissans have this function.

From where can i switch it on off? If the buzzer is dead how can i fix it and where is the buzzer located? Btw thanks for quick reply.
