Guys sorry for all the commotion
Started the car again for longer and also revved it a bit
Turns out BMW alternators have a time delay in them they don't start untill car warms up or you rev to 1500rpm presumably to lessen the load on engine whole starting or on alternator when belts have some slack on cold or something according to BMW forums
Anyways it's pumping out 14.1 volts with all accessories on high beams xenons fan blower front and rear climate on max etc and 14.4v with only basic accessories
So for now will just order a voltage regulator and keep it with me if I need it as recommended by Dewan but won't be needing a new alternator

i had a feeling that it was working at times when you mentioned that the battey was giving 12.6 volts. that is nearly full charge, but i ignored that considering that you had just replaced it

Well sorry to say this morning no juice
Again no charge even after warmed up probably something is wrong inside also had 46 different errors relating to the charging system
Dewan has a alternator in stock whereas as a regulator will take 45 days from Germany
Can't drive the car like this and risk being stranded or running down the new battery so have ordered the alternator will get rid of this problem once and for all
They tell me alternator is a common problem on bmws especially x5 and they keep them in stock
Just last week they changed 4 alternators all in bmws belonging to eden homes
They also told me infact they did register and programme the capacity and type of battery on mine and that's not the issue

It will be changed on mine on Friday will update after what happens

I have seen this issue on some E53 BMW.

the problem maybe the oil level sensor or the NSS wiring. These and the alternator exciter are sort of tied to the fuse no.5 which is in the hatch of the glovebox. The bosch alternator staying off while cranking is normal but it bootstraps itself at anything above 400 rpm. The DME then takes over the regulator. if you have an intermittent fault you will notice that the car cranks but fails to start and then lights up the battery warning after it starts.

Check the wiring going to the alternator itself. peel it and see if any wires are damaged and see if the loom is melted somewhere. Usually the regulator toasts itself when this happens.

You might also want to test the grounds on the vehicle - as you complained that the front lamps are being affected by the windows - look for water damage in the door master switch.

It has a Valeo alternator though it hasn't failed to start yet but does crank slowly and occasional error messages of charging system currently intermittently it either does not work at all or works when revved to 1500rpm or above and there is a sudden surge of power and then it keeps on working even at idle
It idles at 600 rpm with AC off and on first start alternator does not function till revved even though as you said it should work at 400rpm and above
The wiring is not melted or damaged and the headlight issue with window is gone now that was probably due to water ingress while washing and cheap generic brand battery
Hasn't surfaced after changing battery and cleaning all the grounds

Have deposited money for the new alternator will report back on Friday on how it goes and will keep the old one for experimentation purposes though I don't think one can do much when it's removed as it talks to the dme

the way to test it is to let it be in the car, start the engine up and look at the field winding PID on the scan tool. Its like newer mazdas (e.g. 6,3, 5 RX8 etc).. The issue is that it needs switched power too. Thats where the fuse no.5 shows its ugly face.

Will have this done before changing as well didn't check about fuse no5
The fuses behind the glove box are painful to get to the fuse for the illuminated vanity mirrors was out and it took me forever to reach in there and change it

I have read that the current ecu works on ISO 9141-2 and all i need to do is plug the SIL pin also known as the k-line from the ecu to pin 7 of obd2 connector along with the battery on pin 16 and ground on pin 4,5. I did try this out with my elm327 obd2 scanner but was unable to get it to connect. Can someone guide me on how to wire the dlc3 port?

ELM327 have different versions, first try to connect a proffesional scanner with it and make it sure that the wiring is OK and working fine.
I have Nissan QG18 and experience with ELM327. Earlier I ordered online for ELM327 and they sent me version 2.0 which costs me 1500Rs but it never worked later they sent me another device and it also didnt work. The devices were even not able to find ECU. Later I ordered ELM327 v 1.5 which is abit expensive and costed me about 2500Rs and till date it is working fine. For your reference output picture is attached.

@xulfiqar can you please help me with that Nissan ECU? I want to get all of its functions. I am.unable to calibrate the Ethrottle, electrician saying that it seems like pedal sensor data line is either missing or not connected properly. This is QG18DE engine with electronic throttle having that type of ECM.

I bought a mehran euro 2 2014 got it tuned.. But got an average of 12km/l what should i do do i change its engine oil r tuned again from 3s ..????

I found that the blower motor wiring connector was getting hot on my car. Opened it to find that the spades had burned through the plastic and were now touching.

Replaced the plastic connector (praying that the wire was okay, because i can't get brand new spade and soldering a used connector isn't the most beautiful thing)

Sure enough, it gets hot AGAIN. didn't melt while i was checking it, but got hot.

I will solder a new connector to see if that also gets hot, that will rule out the possibility of burnt wire or bad connection.

If the wiring checks out, do i replace the blower motor or is it repairable?

salaam bro i need to ask smthing my brother have 4e engine in his car issue is that we r nt clear about the sequence of plug wires b.coz we simply install plug wires from left to right 1 2 3 4. i.e 1 from coil where 1 is written we put that wire in number 1 hole which the the left one and so on. now confusion started when a mechanic exchanged two wires cming from coils. he did in this sequence 1 3 2 4.. whats the logic behind it??

Actual sequence is ...1-3-4-2...

And it is by design to distribute power over the crank symmetrically.
