AoA All,
Our corolla 2006 model during driving is experiencing issues in A/C.
All of a sudden car A/C switches off. Current goes completely Zero and Yellow LED in A/C button gets off(Marking as 1 in below picture)

Then after some speed breaker or jerk or if u bang Dashboard then this Yellow LED in A/C button gets on and A/C starts working.

When my bro took car to A/C shop, they told A/C button is ok but Fan speed Regulator 1..2...3...4(Mentioned as 2 in below picture) is faulty, that is causing problem so they advised to install some "Relay" within Dashboard.

I am not satisfied with their diagnosis. Secondly, if i install relay, will it work only in single speed like at #4 or will also work slow like #1, 2 or 3 too?

Is there any other method to repair this Regulator know in case i do not want to install relay and prefer original like functionality

Jazak Allah bhai, I am also of same opinion that if by bang bang(Dhakka) regulator gets started or on Speed breaker, it gets startedso might be due to aging it got faulty(Grip)
May be some Kaaya(Soldering works) also solve the problem.

I think point told by your Electrician seems reasonable and at least better than single speed Relay system. Thanks again.

I will recheck by another A/C wala soon as Temperature in Karachi is approaching 45-46 so too difficult

Exactly bhai. Meri cultus mey A/c raat ko chill karta hay magar afternoon or Morning mey bikul mar jata hay, Paseeney mey doob jata hoon but Log ajeeb tarah se dekhtey hain.
Service kra loo kuch bhee but jahan 35 Degree se opar hua Temperature or A/c bechara mar jata hay

@qazi_sajid SO WHATS THE norm according to yoiu ? if there is buble in the dryer then gas is up to mark where it should be? right.

When bubbles should be checked? With A/C switch on or off?

What i have heard since childhood that A/C gas do not leak itself over period of time even if decade has been passed.

If gas has been leaked, it is surely some leakage point from where gas escapes otherwise in closed loop, it cannot disappear itself

The above rule is correct for split/window A/C's.
Car A/C do leak some gas overtime to keep the compressor seals lubricated and healthy.
