Question : Do weak starter effect on compression test readings ?

I have a 1997 honda civic with automatic transmission
I bought the car recently and flushed all oils including transmission oil and replaced it with Genuine Honda ATF Dw-1.the car was working fine with smooth shifts until a day before eid when I went out for namaz and on my way back the car was in D4 and it suddenly stopped moving forward as if it is in neutral position. I turned off the car and started it again and it worked fine for a few mins and then again it was in D4 and refused to move forward as if it is in neutral. Turned off and started again....it drove good for a few mins and then again shifted to false neutral.

Please help me to. Solve this problem

In Karachi, I am fed up with these Hit n Trial Electricians who have ruined my father's car.

I posted few days ago that my a/c get stops all of sudden and get started itself at jerks of speed breakers.

Then frequent burning of ecu fuse always gets me in trouble. On inspection I came to know fuse box under dashboard is culprit. It seems either it is broken or at least hanging without screws. I am also sursprised that there is no fuse cover so can anyone guide me should I go for complete fusebox change or only fusebox cabin change or whole wiring should be revised

I have Nissan AD 2006 model (QG13DE Engine). I have developed a strange issue for some days.

The car used to start on half self and run smooth for about 15-20 minutes and it would stop all of a sudden. Then it would take very long self to start and would not race at all like it had died. I got it checked with my mechanic who concluded that the in-tank fuel pump was faulty as it was getting hot. He got the fuel pump replaced with a "Kaabli" fuel pump.

I notice slight improvement in the pickup of car, however, the problem still remains. The only difference from earlier is that the car dies a bit less i,e, although it dies but has a little better life then earlier.

But the problem remains.

What could be the possible issues, please?

Change fuel pump with a new one this time, or get kabli from some proper parts dealer

Why waste money on old used discarded parts?

You need to understand that you cannot use old discarded parts for all systems. For fuel and ignition systems, always install new parts.

It seems 2-3 possible issues:
Fuel Pump(90% chances so better change with new one instead of KAbli)
Air Filter Box issue(10% chance) Check whether it is broken or have some cracks
Low current if both above is OK

I have a problem with my radiator and condenser fan operation. I recently redone the wiring myself using Toyota's wiring diagram. I have the following scenario

• Ignition On
• A/C Off
• High Coolant Temperature
• Normal A/C Pressure
A/C Condenser fan not running. Radiator Fan runs as high (full) speed

In my case, both fans run parallel at full speed, which is not what I want. Ideally only radiator fans should run. I have a snapshot of Toyota wiring diagram for radiator and air con operation. The diagram is confusing/misleading OR I can't understand it properly. I might be missing something, that's why I am asking you. Here is a snapshot of wiring diagram.

Sir how much difference in fuel consumption of a 1500cc car is with catalytic converter and without catalaytic converter ?
2 to 3 % ?
10 to 20 % ?

Thanks @brownrose78. The issue has gotten resolved.

I changed the fuel filter and pump (the whole set with pipes and fittings etc.) with a Kaabli one ( its impossible to find new parts of these old JDMs in Pakistan - Kaabli is the only option here, unfortunately or fortunately). But the main culprit here was the crank sensor which cause the crank speed signals, it needed to be replaced again with a Kaabli sensor. I must say, the ride is now awesome and the pick is fantastic. And I also changed my mechanic and got this done by Mr Irshad of Jameel Autos, Khalid Bin Waleed Road, and he appeared to be a pretty reasonable and knowledgeable person who approached systematically and step-by-step to diagnose the issue using scanning and experience - I would recommend him for his skills, workmanship and honesty.

The only issue that still remains is that it still takes longer self to start and much longer at cold-start. Any possible reasons?

Have u checked MAF sensor? I think by resetting ecu readings(by simply removing battery terminals for sometimes & then make connection back) will make things better.

Now Long self is indication of Weak current which might be due to:
Weak Battery(May be 1 or 2 cell is near to die)
Weak Spark plugs
Weak Coils
Weak plug wires

Have u asked Irshad Bhai for reason of Long self??? Yes i know him & visited him.

On suggestion of @capsat bhai, for some problems of my car after Irshad bhai, i have approached Iqbal Shahid and surprisingly he solved my car's issue for which i was worried since several months s u can also check from him:

If your coolant is pre-mixed then do not add any water at all but if it not pre-mixed and just cooling concentrate then you can add Distilled water(Battery Tonic) as Tonic is just marketing name and in fact it is simple distilled water which is quite suitable in this case

Despite of all, i will again recommend you to use only Pre-mixed coolant instead of using Coolant concentrate
