This area of the U joint is swaged in as you can see 4 dimples on the casting, welding it will cause localised heating and can burn up the grease inside rendering the joint useless in a few weeks - and I can bet you a million rupees they used garbage grease or assumed the clear petroleum jelly in the new joint was some sort of genuine grease.

This joint is available as a whole unit in aftermarket and also as genuine part - do not weld or do anything crazy to it unless you have the correct jig and mandrels to swage in a new joint.

This is a safety critical part of your car, if this joint malfunctions and locks up or disassembles itself while car is in motion you will lose all control of the steering wheel. This is why the manufacturer has swaged in the joint.

Suzuki recommended grease. Ot was written on pack. Whole thing was not welded just 2 dot spots were made like dimples on lower u joint on one side only. All other were ok.

@xulfiqar Sahib. I own a Toyota Landcruiser LJ71 1988 model (3 door) with a 2L-T engine. The steering has somewhat play and when I turn on low speeds or at a standstill, a "catuck" noise is heard from the front suspension. Same noise also comes if I turn the steering while breaking on low speeds. I am unable to pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from. Can you advise where should I get it checked from (somebody who is well versed in dealing with these old rigs)

I recently got the front suspension of my suzuki liana overhauled as it was 130k kms driven.
Now to the problematic part,,the bolts of the control arms get losen after some time.
Do i need to change the bolts??
Why its happening??

You need to first clean them of all dirt and grease etc, (wire brush them) then install the bolts and only tighten them to specified torque with control arm at normal ready to drive position.

You will need to get creative here if you dont have access to a lift or pit, raise the spindle/hub with a jack till all weight it on jack, now torque down the control arm bolt. (Make sure its clean and the hole in the car is clean too - dirty bolts dont tighten)

I have flushed Radiator of a honda City 2014 1.3.
Removed thermostat Used Tatri and Meetha soda(whole process explained by respected Zulfiqar bhai)
Added Caltex coolant conc so that 50/50 conc is there with distilled water.
Now my Question is that when should i be mentally relieved that there is no air in the system.
Temps are normal on OBD 2.
Fan is operating normally kicking in at 96 c and switching off after 10-15 sec and the temp drops to 89-90 c.
Should i do some other test?

Sir i flushed the system with total of 34 liters of hot Distilled water(collectes from the AC Condesate and filtering it).
After adding coolant.
I took a sample of coolant 50/50 mix from the radiator drain plug.
Coolant is clear but there are small particles settling in the bottom of the pan.
Should i be worried and re do the flush?
Just for the info
(Everything was clean no sign of sludge or rust during inspection after draining the orignal coolant)

Did you flush the system from the radiator cap or by forcing water in from the heater pipes?

But if you have thoroughly flushed it, you should be ok. Honda 4cyl cooling systems bleed easily themselves after 2 cycles, the system is probably full now.

In the Second last flushed and i pushed air through the Heaterpipe(going to the block) while i Removed the TStat housing.
flushed and pushed air through other end of heater core.
After which i filled again with distilled water.

There are tiny particles settling down.
Are they okay or should i do flush again?
Using AC collected water is a mistake?
