Car is missing while on cruise on highway speeds (around 90 km/hr - till 120 km//hr, havent checked above 120 km/hr)...

Civic 2009 Prosmatec.

A month ago got car + engine washed, 4 km after wash engine vibrated violently and then it shut down. Started again, was normal but since then (or maybe It was present earlier but didnt feel) experiencing continuous slight jerks while cruising on Motorway.
Plugs checked and are fine (according to mechanic - although 90,000 km done).
THING IS Today got them/plugs cleaned, no detectable missing for 4 km and then present again..

What can be the issue(s)? n how can I diagnose it?
What parts do I need to check/replace?.
** NO missing while accelerating at any rpm (2000 rpm to 5000 rpm).

test the engine idle as GLOW IN DARK

shut down your car porch lights there shall be no light at the engine bay start the car open the hood visually check for any jumping spark at the coils. throttle few times and keep watching, you may be able to find the culprit, current leaking at wiring harness

Yes of course the manufacturer would have recommended in the manual. Tried getting manual online, could not find easily but will search again though

But even PSF isn't available on spar parts or oil shops easily. I purchased new seal set of power steering yesterday and argued with the parts seller to give me PSF or does he have any PSF available with him? , But he came up with same idea of putting ATF as hydraulic oil for PS,
I think whole mechanic and parts sellers community are doing the manufacturer's recommendations wrong.

I tried to send screenshot from manual but it didn't upload. Manual says psf-3. Which apparently is a zic made OEM fluid. The link I posted above describes it as follows

I guess you should be able to use any dex2 or 3 rated atf ?
My surf power steering uses dex2 and I think I used Valvoline d3 atf

Thanks, good research. I got the PS oil seals replaced yesterday and poured in DX III ATF as PSF, I hope it will not tease me in longer run.

Actually getting myself in on so much fronts that can't get to do every thing as per recommendations.
Like getting an AC surge protection device to add in my 6 KW hybrid netmetering enabled solar system, downsizing the currently drained out bigger size batteries with smaller ones to get system running in day time with need of batteries and getting a separate ups installed for power back at night time,
Batteries prices are also skyrocketed, can't loot bank to purchase 27 plates batteries again which were previously installed.
Also have to additionally install a color night vision cctv in my existing security system of 3 cctvs
Getting 2 cars managed myself is also hell of a task.

Hyundai psf3 is basically atf dexron II, and you can use any dexron IIi or VI rated atf in it.

However if you are adamant and hellbent to use dexron II original color and spec psf, you will have to visit a mercedes parts shop and buy the febi branded yellow psf, (make sure its the yellow/amber/light brown oil and not the green one)

I personally fill older hyundai, toyota etc with mercon V atf, works a treat, however if customer wants the amber type, it gets the ac delco or the febi stuff or the mercedes stuff,

For offroad use I use a light hydraulic oil and make sure it has a large cooler for it too.

What is causing your car to fail its oil seals? Is the mechanic tearing up the center seal by dragging the rack teeth on it? Or is he messing up the teflon rings on the valve body?

Visit a proper mechanic to diagnose ignition coil failures, and stop washing the engine.

Its cheapo old formula dex2 atf with the traction additives missing. (The traction additives are used for transmission clutch plates slip)

It has a bunch of antifoaming properties and almost no cleaning properties though.

Nothing special, Kia/Hyundai have discontinued this since ages,

Yes machinist did tear up the center seal by dragging the rack teeth on it. Got it done by machinist. The machinist said he can't take out center seal by any other way. I asked him reasons for the oil to leak, he blamed that Korea didn't make seals right 🤣🤣🤣🤣, this is usual excuse in Pakistan to blame manufacturer.
The mechanic said he will not replace center seal.

The seal is installed by installing it over rack shaft by covering the teeth with electric tape or with a plastic sleeve (cut up coke bottle) - once the seal is on the shaft, the tape is removed and then the seal is hammered in with the aide of the shaft itself.

You had previously mentioned of removing the seal which I have told you about. But I really didn't observe how did he put new seal in, because I had other things there to look for also, of course there is a certain way to put seal in,
As I did use to rebuild my 3 KVA electric generator rebuilding at home and use to put compression, oil rings on piston myself and inserting piston into bore, also removing and reinstalling new crankshaft oil seals.
Kya Kiya ja sakta hai , these crook mechanics and machinists are our fate, ooper kharay ho k bhi they don't refrain from deceiving

The matter got worse. 2000rpm or below continuous missing and now at any speed while cruising its missing..
