Salam. How's every one. Posting after quite some time. Sir I got a query. What's the difference between red and green coolant? I got GLI 2011 last year. Now, I am not sure which coolant should I put in? Thank you

Btw 2c diesel IP has 2 wires rpm sensor, but how can i wire it to an aftermaket digital rpm guage please help

The 2 wire sensor reads the governer, it has 40 teeth or so.

The 2wires from rpm sensor in 2c diesel generate some voltage when engine is running ? I want to know if i hook up my aftermarket rpm guage,s green signal wire with the 2 wires coming out of the rpm sensor on IP will my guage read the engine rpm ?

Your afternarket sensor will not work, aftermarket tachometers take one pulse per cylinder firing event and thats how its calibrated

Connecting the 2c diesel rpm sensor directly will be read as a 40 cyl engine, you will need to make a controller board to condition the signal first to be reliable.

Can someone please add my question that I raised above. Since I don't know the existing coolant type can I add simple add water to increase its level upto maximum level in reservoir bottle. Or any other general coolant that I can add to existing coolant. Or the complete flush and adding the new coolant is the only option? The existing coolant is fine no issues at all. The only reason I want to increase its level is currently it's on minimum level in reservoir bottle and every time I have to check its level through mobile torch. If it can be raise to maximum level it will be easier to check and keep an eye.

Don't do that..... Check level when engine is Hot. It will be near Max Or at least half way near max..

When the engine is hot the level is upto almost maximum level or sometimes half way near maximum level.

But I usually check the engine oil and coolant level on cold engine before starting to make sure everything is alright.

That is what i was saying If you add any more liquid in the system it will overflow.

BTW; Both Oil and coolant is checked at engine on operating temperature.

Checking engine oil on operating temperature will not give your proper reading. I mean when the engine is hot dipstick will always show you oil on minimum level. Engine oil should be checked after a car is parked for 6-7 hours to get proper level on dipstick.

I wanted to know what the ATF change intervals on a Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 4 speed auto are.
I checked the user manual and it has no instructions on when to replace it. The car was bought in 2019 and has only been driven around 30k kms but I just want to make sure what the interval in years is. The guys at the dealership don't know anything so no point asking them.

Things Expand when heated.

On hot engine (5-10 mins after turning off to settle oil in pan), Oil will be expanded*, And if you fill it till max on cold engine it will be higher when engine will be heated up, causing the leakage of oil seals.

Always check for oil on hot engine (after 10-15 min of turning it off).

Engine oil should always be checked after the car is parked for 10-12 good hours on a plain surface.
