@helper_learner @pwuser15609321293 Both of you are correct. The correct answer is you should follow manufacturer's recommendations to check engine oil level. Sometimes the instructions are given in a service manual.
Some manufacturers recommend to check oil level on cold engine and others recommend to check when engine is hot. When the instructions say to check oil level for a hot engine, you should usually wait a couple of minutes after the engine is turned off.
The majority of the folks believe the oil level should be checked when the engine is cold. So to give you an idea this isn't always true, here are the instructions given in almost all Honda service manuals.
It's 80k kms, time is irrelevant
Cleaning catlytic converter is required as it gets blocked by remainants of ignition. I did git cleaned two times from master of cat con cleaners but stil not satisfied I think best way is to remove it and ckean using deisel and kerosine oil it helps loosen dirt and clear air ways. I will do it soon on my ride and update you never let mechanic break it

I need to drill grease zerks into control arm ball joints. I want to know if you guys can drill the zerks and pump the proper grease into the joints if I bring them to any of your shops. Thank you.
Bump @Xulfiqar
you are looking at the CVT model book, The 4spd auto maintenance interval is from the old model book. Its 40,000 kms for the first time drain and fill with filter change and then 50,000 kms thereafter for tropical area urban driving cycle.
Thank you, appreciate it. IMC didn't bother printing two separate manuals i guess.
They did print them, this is usually in the pdi pouch and is finalized by the dealer, the dealership may have goofed it up.
Vehicle in question ?
Suzuki Khyber. Here are the pictures of the grease nipples and the control arms:
Need to drill the nipples where the red arrows are pointing:
Back side of khyber ball joint has insufficient space for the zerks. So probably sides of ball joint can be drilled.
Nai panchayat. Nothing is ever simple with this car
I think I'll find some discarded control arms and experiment with them first.
@jatt.zaildar please create a new thread for the subject vehicle under brand classification. a moderator @ser_gtr @hassan1991 can help you move replies and question there. It will help many of us to understand and guide you correctly, the BITS & PCS in this thread are quiet jumbled up
Please mention from which post you want to get to shift.
Yes I was about to say that. You can come and use my drill press. We can try this together
@Xulfiqar Please recommend a list of tools to make DIY work easier. I want to do DIY work on my Khyber and Civic's front-end and back-end (steering, suspension arms, and maybe shocks.)
