halfcuts are already been banned. and now cars are coming in 6 pieces. means half cut further divided in 2 pieces.

why is it bad situation??

are you aware of proper disposal of metallic scrap? - Any country allowing import of trash as scrap literally becomes the worlds trash can. Its not worth the few oddball cars that scrap can support.

uto cars will shift again and again between 2 and 3rd gear which will eventually heat up transmission

I was thinking the other way around. i was keeping car in D mode in hilly ares to give room to shift between gears so it wont heatup while keeping in D2 or L mode constantly. If travel to murree or nathiagali these areas. So far i drive in D and Alhumduilliah havnt got any problem yet and with 4 to 5 people it moves smoothly . This is scary and have to change my habit to drive auto in hilly areas because o dont want any damage in my auto transmission lol .

So though out keeping auto in D2 mode for these areas wont heatup or cause any idea in auto transmission ? or should i keep changing when feel it necessary between D2 or D mode?

haha ya true but I dont have such mentality about auto gears. and yes you are right. manually downshift to auto gear gives more power, but cant change to lower gear from D mode if someone at 40km/hr speed, cause it creates a very bad inertia and engine braking And yes sometimes when i feel needs to get downshift i do it immediately but for hilly areas. SO far havent feel a need to use L or D2 mode. But our this brother awais khan is saying it allows transmission to heat up if keeps in D mode constant for hilly areas.

I am just saying it's better to put in 2 rather than D when required at some steeps specially at turns.

1NZ-FE auto transmission, ecu & wiring will cost approx 175000 in Karachi and prices going up every passing week.

very soon scrap containers will be released as real scrap no nose cuts, no half cuts no working engines / transmission.

135 SCRAP containers at port(s) is marked by customs for destuffing since August 2019, every container has to be emptied / destuffed. Irrespective of items & conditions a hammer ball & a hydraulic drill is used to make stuff appear as actual scrap.

w.salam.. always, you have to keep OD ON my brother. listen, when you turn On OD, the OD the light will vanish from the cluster meter. and When OD is OFF then you will see OD oFF light in the cluster meter. when you see OD Off light in the cluster meter, that means the car is using only 3 gears (not good for normal driving). When you dont see OD off light in the cluster meter. that means car is using all 4 gears.

Normally cars only show up OD on, for od off light switches off..
So for on light lits up and most cars have this.
