very nice innovation but a dynamat replacement it is not. 30% sound decrease is an achievement however and that too at this price is amazing. can it be applied in a thick layer? because at this price one can afford to use 3-4 coats or even more

Tanveer Bhai .. It is always nice to do something with your own hand ... I just thought about the volume of one kg of this rubber ... it seems it is much less dense than the Dynamat Xtreme ...

Dynamat Xtreme comes in 1.7 mm thickness .. in order to similar levels of deadening efficiency, I think you should aim for about 3 mm thick layer ... Inside the door, space is very limited to work ... so it would be a challenging DIY

umm - when you apply this type of coat - the idea is to apply only to the body parts and not the removable frames, links etc, Because as it petroleum based it will readily eat out any rubber bushing, And thats the reason I like the 3M product, the spray is very controlled, and the best idea is to use newspapers to isolate suspension and steering parts. Spraying gently in 2 or 3 passes

Thanks I coated 3 layers underneath, The paint never hardens, but it stick to the surface, if u penetrate any sharp object u can see its impression on paint which removes elastically after few seconds of removal.

diesel is sprayed on the body in order to keep away from distruction of fumes of newly spraying paint.
