Gear shifting issue can also be there if TPS is not calibrated. TPS is very important for gear shifting.
If any of your relatives live in USA, they can easily get it as it is available on Amazon also. It's common there. Also every filter I see is aftermarket. Looks like toyota don't sell it. If you search on ebay you also get all the aftermarket one.
@mohsin-212Please answer
It elongates in 3rd gear mostly
elongates the shift or the gear itself?
shift means the act of changing ratiosgear itself means the transmission is not shifting up to 4th gear uptil very high rpm.
This is due to the engine or gearbox running too cold. check with a scan tool and check both engine CTS reading and ATF temperature reading along with engine load request.
Yes it delays gear in 3rd gear goes to higher rpm
This is due to engine or gearbox too cold. check the temperature with a scan tool.
Actually my car has no Thermostat Valve but I think it has nothing to do with Gearbox
The lack of a thermostat is likely the problem.
But how is it related with gearbox as it only helps in achieving operating temp but radiator coolant remains cold as I guess
The ECU is trying to get the engine up to its designed working temperature by holding the lower gears and not using OD, but the lack of the thermostat is defeating its efforts.
As @VCheng said.
Install thermostat back and it will start behaving normally.
I am trying to source one but unable to find one
Checked and its Alhumdulillah transmission oil is at the correct level on running engine.
But in my gear there is no OD button
There is an OD button on this model
