Where is the transmission code written on transmission???
Over the id plate under trans/axle code
And this was deduced just by wiring? Did they actually bother to read the transmission itself?
Or even bother to see the error with their scantool
Btw
Are these the same guys who had a workshop in khudadad colony in a british era house?
No there workshop was in front of central Jail
Not at all . At first he said TCC doesnt exist in real world it just a scam then he took a ride and tried to convince me that all gears are smooth and there no issue and there is no such thing like TCC then I asked him what does P0773 means then??? so he check connector and said its gear is changed there pins dont match etc and I will ground the 9th pin so your fault will be resolved
On id plate its U341E but I want to match it with transaxle so where its punched on transaxle
LOL - I would recommend to stay away from this shop if his knowledge of automatic transmissions is stuck in 1977.
But his PIN logic seems a bit reasonable what do u say???
no it doesnt. Hes a moron!
its near the tail housing (end case in FWD)
I also visited Toyota Eastern Motors and they said come tomorrow at 9A.M our team will check and 7500 will be the charges
I was also planning to pay a visit to Khadadad colony guys on Tomorrow
Why dont you use the celica manual you got. And use a pen n paper to make your own diagram.
Then test as required. Its not rocket science, its a simple as dirt toyota u341e
Today I used Celica Manual and checked ohmic values
Almost all values matched but TCC valve (pin#4) showing open when checked against battery negative but showed 8 ohms when checked against pin#9
According to Celica manual pin#9 has no connection and pin#4 is Solenoid SL (TCC solenoid) but in my case when I touched pin#9 and pin#4 with DMM it showed 8ohms
Also connector from ECU has no wire for (Pin#9)
Maybe gearbox is changed
Yes mechanic is also saying that. Now what to do???
