You are one lucky Man ! Nice Coverage And Report!
Btw, did you go to the troubled areas too ?? I mean interior places where you always here Ak47's going off ?
I did and will upload pix soon (lazy) !
WOW!.....Great coverage!
@all thanks, I am glad you enjoyed the pictorial.
@kiani. No we were not taken to those areas. The trips arranged by military are usually short and limited to certain areas due to security reasons. Wish could go on my own, but the tribal areas are out of bounds for journalists.
Very Nice Pictures!
Although I wish that your trip to this area was not to a troubles insecure WANA rather a peaceful serene area of Pakistan.
This trip is really awesome. I visited Peshawar in 2000 for the first time and there is no doubt that charsi tikkas of namak mandi are as pure as people of frontier.

heli ride must have been fun! but i didnt see any serious off-roading...if u ever get a chance, drive to Wana, but via the Gomal Zaam Dam road! thats where u get to off-road! btw, did u notice the surprising amount of the corolla station wagons? they must be TOUGH to be used so frequently in waziristan!
