KARACHI: Passengers on-board an Islamabad-Karachi fight on Sunday escaped unhurt, when the plane suffered a tyre burst during landing at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport....

The plane of private airline Shaheeh Air coming from Islamabad made emergency landing after developing problems in landing gear....

a female passenger said the plane is tilted towards left side and water is being poured on to the engines. 'There are around 150 passengers.'

It make all Pakistanis conscious about air traveling.
Shaheen Air is using same Boeing 737 Planes as Bhoja Air, these are too old planes.

A rep of the CAA held a press confrence today, they showed it on TV. He said that the pilot had been made aware of the weather conditions but at the same time was cleared for landing by Islamabad. But in a flight, the last call is of the pilot. If he thinks he can land safely, then no one can question his judgment. What I got from their statement was that it was indeed an operator error or a mis judgment.

Another thing, they said that another plane belonging to AirBlue landed just 4 minutes after the Bhoja aircraft was supposed to land. The Airblue flight was on the same route as this one and went through the same weather. It landed without any drama.

Meanwhile on the news, they're saying that indeed lightening had struck the ill-fated aircraft and that was the primary reason of it crashing down.

Just today Shaheen airlines tire got bursted and landing gear destroyed,, but everyone was safe (ALHAMDULILLAH) ., and also in Lahore while taking off Shaheen airlines fuel tank was leaking ,,, ALLAH REHAM KARE !!

Damn, thats bad. I've read in news that 2 tires bursted after landing!!

I know it couldn't land, the AirBlue plane landed 4 minutes after this one crashed.

The problem is every eye witness tells a different tale
the plane was sold by Shaheen to Bhoja legally and the plane was in good nick !
According to aviation experts it was because of mirco bursting
and eye witness said that the plane suddenly came to the ground then got up and then exploded ! thats why its parts are scattered on a large scale and into houses

According to Jang, the said plane was grounded by Shaheen and was acquired by Bhoja from South Africa.

I consider the plane caught fire in air, because when plane hit the ground, almost all the passengers were half burned and also plane was divided into three parts in air and was further scattered.

but it this was happening that time, it should effect some more objects in ground, no voice or effect was noted at that time, but may be a possibility. Luckily, here no report will be shared with poor Pakistanis like us

The plane was indeed on landing approach and ATC cleared it for landing , if we accept ur point that it was not attempting to land then why the landing gear was lowered?

Yes i also think that the plane hit the ground tried to go backup and exploded because of decompression
