Kenwood is not made in UK and company who is building it claims they are manufacturing it under license from UK which i feel isnt true :p.

The company who is manufacturing it is RNI www.Rni.com.pk .

The parts used mostly are chinese as like other local a/c but good thing is they are of better quality

Waisa i like GREE in all these chinese acs gree is very good.

Mobile AC seems and looks like modified and modrenized version of old days Room Coolers.

This is all as shown in picture. Its about 3 feet in height almost like a washing machine. every thing is built in only an exhaust hose goes out from wall. This picture was taken from Matero stores. This product is being used in USA & Europe for a long time. If any one has personal experience about this new product, pls do let us know.

I installed stabilizer yesterday. Its hot now a days and everyone is using a/cs so i was abserving around 180v at night time.

And i tested this satbilizer layin in my store my dad bought this some 12 years ago and its transformer is also made by hertz italy and everything inside i opened up and checked all japanes or top quality

Turned it on and its working giving 220 and its 5000 VA so 1 ton is nothin for it, It can easily run 1.5 ton.

BTW Weight of this thing is not less than 20 kg

Its big hehe btw stabilizer for a/cs are big not sure how are the ones made now a days.

Lekin its working well not making any noise but i can see it producing 220v even though its around 190 at the moment.

why stabilizer when u can get a circuit breaker 16ampere for 300 rupees.if the electricity fluctuates the circuit breaker trips resulting in shutting down of the ac.

Stabilizer improves the voltage. If you are getting 190v it can improve them to 220v.

I am confused should I get a stabilizer? or circuit breaker will work fine for the AC? I have circuit with AC but I never saw it tripping even though we get low voltages.

@S55...Well Nothing To Get Confused...If You Have Voltage Drop Issue.......Get Stabilizer Since It Will Provide Constant Voltage To Your Unit.......!! Making Things Run On Safe Side......!!

If Voltage Drops below 170...Then Stabilzer Start Tripping As Stabilizer Itself Have Circuit Breakers Installed....!! Circuit Breaker Alone Get Trips When Voltage Fluctuation Is On Extreme.....Who Knows Before It Breaks....Damage Is Already Done ....!! So Thats Why They are Putted On 2nd Priority...!!

B/w want To Ask That Last Year You Got LG Jet Cool Finally After Researching So Much......Its Been Year Now........What About Bills And Performance.....!! Bills/month Mentioned How Much Hours Its Used On How Much Temp....!!!

This Will Help Me Also Running My Unit Considering Bills..!!

I wish if I could get some like this for myself My 1.5 Ton AC is still tripping on voltage fluctuations after stabilizers. And now I have planned to sell my unit and switch to 1 Ton...

btw zank did you try getting your ac serviced?

I remember with my general a/c and in the heat of sargodha i use to feel the same prob but when you get ur a/c serviced surprisingly the amperes it takes to start or work drop.

Than i learned how to service the window type a/c and i use to do it on my 3 a/cs and every season i use to clean them than use them.

As the condensor and evaporator get dirty a/c start consuming more electercity and puts more load.

Yes I have serviced the AC. I know how to professionally service an AC
The AC is cooling in normal hours after putting a stabilizer, but its in peak load time that it fails, like just now... The time slot it does not work is like 12-4 AM and 2-4 PM. Rest of the time it cools really well, stabilizer trips and yells at other times also but AC keeps cooling. Within these slots it gets the AC tripped for longer time and does not cool. And you need your AC to work at these times the most

That is why I'm pissed off more...

Circuit Breaker will shut down the AC if the voltage fluctuates....!!!!! but the Stabilizer will "try it's best" not to shut the AC down..........so i guess Stabilizers are better than Circuit Breakers,,,!!

I was checking my AC's manual and reached a page where it says that I can remotely access my AC by connecting a telephone with the AC and then dialing on that number. I checked AC but couldn't find any telephone line port.
