Very helpful thread. Reading throuh it, I felt that Mitsubishi is great, if u can afford it. Haier is good for a middle range cost. But since Mitsu is being marketed by Orient (Lahore based) and Haier is also Lahore based, I am wondering how is after sales service for both theses brands in Karachi SPECIALLY for Haier. Is there any big dealer in Karachi ?

Also Haier have three series, i.e.,
Inverter - Series
,
E - Series
, and
PK - Series
. Can somebody tell me which one is best

Best will be inverter series but cost of inverter series will be close to mitsu reason the technology used by Mitsu is used in Hair inverter based a/cs.

Benifits of Inverter conventional air conditioners when they reach desired set room temp for example 26 the compressor will shut down so after few minutes it will start again at full power.

In inverter as the air conditioner reaches 26c the compressor dun shut down it slows down it self like a FAN where we control it by regulator switch. So when compressor slows down it also saves electercity and the room temp is also maintained at 26c not like normal air conditioner where it when a/c trips you start feeling hot again. dont forget the inverter based air conditioner will save over 30% electercity these air conditioners are common in other countrie here we dont have that much awarness and they are expensive.

Everyone is agreed on this Point Mitsu is best AC , In Low Range ppl. have differnt opnion , But I think In low Range Orient is Best ,Because Mitsu is Korean Assemble and Orient is Chanies assemble of AC of Mitsu company

No its not chinese my dear Its a pakistani company named RNI they are building these air conditioner with license from UK's firm Kenwood and with chinese parts that include compressor as well Kia samjha.

So Chinese nahi hai khalis pakistani hai hehe.

Yesterday i bought GREE 1 Ton for other room in my house i have heard a lot about GREE that its one of the best A/C around.

I will test and compare it with Kenwood and let you know which is better.

BTW interms of Air Throw Gree is way better.

I bought it for 26500 Rs. 1 Ton.

I bought Kenwood 2 months ago for 22000 Rs.

I am planning to buy a Nice Reliable Split that wouldnt give me any sort of issues atleast for 2 Hot seasons
The Bed Room size is 13x16feet
Will 1Ton Mitsubishi Mrslim Extreme be okay for such size room??

Yes Mitsu will be fine for this size of room

But if ur going for any other brand than buy 1.5 Ton.

The shopkeeper and a guy i know in samsung company he is a manger there and they are marketing gree he is a big fan of Gree. He says its one of the best A/C around i have been to his house and he got around 8 Gree installed in his house

The shopkeeper told me that he is selling gree for 2 years not a single complain.

But mitsubhishi is better than Gree way better infact. Reason it uses inverted based tech and it save electercity and cools well.

Dont know wether Installation &Kit was included

hi. i'v been reading all the postings by u cause i am also planning to buy one. Could you plase tell me why you prefer Mitsubishi Mr.Slim Advance over Extreme? I ask this because i am getting both of them here in islamabad with the ADVANCE 1600 rupees more expensive then the EXTREME one.

gree is a cheaper brand of samsung like orient is a cheaper brand of mitsubishi..
i have both samsung and gree in my house gree is also very good but samsung has no comparison. samsung 1.5 ton indoors are even smaller than mitsubishi

I have finally bought a 1 ton Haier. Howeer, I have noticed that there is water dripping (first condensation and then continuous water dripping) from the two golden metal pipe connections on the outer unit where the concealed pipe from internal unit are joined to exter nal unit. Is it normal because I fear that it would cause rusting on the body of external unit. Hoping for a quick help from u guys
