Gree is short in market thats why rate kuch high hai. I bought it for 26500 Rs. for 1 Ton.

Waisa i also got Kenwood interms of cooling i feel both are equal but Air throw of Gree is twice more than Kenwood with turbo mode on That helps when you need to cool down ur room quickly or ur installing small a/c in a big room.

Gree and Haier both are good. But if ur going for 1 ton than go for gree bcoz of its powerful air throw.

SER_GTR i got 2 sanyo a/c'c in my office's Server room original 1 year old and one of them failed last month. Gas leaked got that filled. Overall i am ok with there performance but nothing extra oridinary they are working just fine.

Well I Own Sanyo Window Type Since 96 And Its Still Running Fine Till Now..Need Gas Refills 2 3 times But Its Still Runs Fine.....!!

I Saw Chinese Korean And Japanese Sets And I Find Them Better In Quality Than All...Chinese And So Called Locals Chinese Are Just Too Low On Quality And Material Used....!!

Choose It As Sanyo Is Once Owned And Check + They Last Longer.....!!

Today Got It Running And Its Quiet Good...!! Enough For My Need...And No Doubt Will Last Longer Than Chinese Ones....!!

Leaking Gas Can Be Due To Many Reasons..Increased Head Pressure If Outdoor Unit Is Installed Where There's Not Enough Ventilation + Installation Matters Alot...There Are Some Many Things Need To Be Done Which Normally So Many Installers Avoid....!! Like Taping Up Gas If You Have More Than 10'ft Long Piping + Piping And Insulation Material Used.....!! These Things Add Quiet Much In Last But Getting Quality Work Done Improves It Life And Performance....!!

In window type nothing beats General. I got General from 95 and my dad was in Army and we use to have electercity bill like you can say just 2000 Per A/C not matter how much you use and for those 5 years my General's thermostate use to be at 10 all the time and i only use to turn it off for 2 hours in 24 hours just to give it some rest hehe.

And its still running on original Gas cooling is wayyyyyy better than any split and air throw it can blow you away hehe but it sucks electercity like mad.

Only care i take is service it every year before the season starts so its just like new Only saw once the technician servicing it and it was simple so now i do it on my own.

General Made in Japan is a Crazy AC dude, i got it in 1993, until 2001 it used to stay ON for 24 Hours lamfao and i dont even get it serviced and yeh i just turned Off mine, tis workin like New and da year is 2009

Agree dude, its Cooling No split or Window of 1.5 ton can beat its cooling, but yeah its electricity consumption is Crazy and yeh mine is Not running on original Gas i had to refill its gas twice in 15 years

Bought a pair of general window 1.5 ton in 2005 from china market f-6/4.only for 27k.those were 1 season used by a foreigner.now its running well.
nothin comes close to General

no its not inverter type

The inverter type is Rs.60,000/-

I did some research that inverter type saves 30% power but that is something hard to achieve

one good thing about inverter AC is this - you do not need big generator to run AC because its starting current is the same as running current.

take this example when MS-A10VD start that suck 20Amp that means you need a 6KVA generator

now taking into running current of e.g. 4-5amp for inverter type AC your 2kva generator can run it

Guys I got a problem here and need some first hand knowledge. My LG AC today just not cooling. Right now it's at 18 (least) and I'm sweating. I can witness some dirty water drops on the indoor unit and the smaller diameter pipe on the outdoor unit is all covered with snow till the valve. What is the problem and what should I do now? urgent help required guys.

Look like the evaporator got frost. What you can do is run the A/C on FAN mode for around 15 to 20 Minutes to melt the ice and than Try.

If that the prob than this normaly happens when the A/C was not serviced for along period of time or the Thermostate was set too low.

BTW do you clean ur filters regularly? And also try not to run A/C on low fan speed.

Normaly A/C technicians what they do to solve this prob is put some mild hot water in the eveporator and also clean it with blower.
