I agree with you. I had to cut down on almost 80% of other things just so we can run AC.

Pics of my Gree 1.5Ton and now it is 39C outside.And my Ac is running on 26C and i am feeling like i am sitting in AJK.
One thing more that its Turbo Mode is off right now.

The Plus point of Gree is that it uses SMPS.

Same Power Supply used in PC.

If it really works at low voltage of 190 then it's really a good choice

2 days ago one of our LG 1 TON Unit after running for 2 years, the compressor burnt. The warranty was over so we had two choices.

Install a new Compressor that costs around 12000Rs with no warranty at all you move out of shop and thats it.
Buy a used one or they call it qabli, Just like the car the ac compressor market is also full of these used ones.
Get outer of some other one ton.

Knowing a used one will be a risk we opted for this risk. Bought same Compressor by LG in used (Made in Korea). Fitted it and so far its running ok pulling 5 Amp all the time and cooling is fine as well. Total Kharcha 7250Rs.

I visited the Abid Market Lahore, the shop keepers are claiming that Haier 1.5 ton is not a true 1.5 ton ac and that they are using an under-powered compressor in their bid to tout it as the most energy efficient split AC. Any Comments?
Gree is being claimed to be the best among the chinese brands by these guys.

hmmm we have haier and gree both are 1.5 but gree is more chilling ...may be they are telling truth coz i have checkd haier cooling i am not impressed with it but gree mashallah running very good

can anybody please tell me working of thin and thick pipes?
i have check both pipes thick one was very cold and thin was also cold but lesser than thick..why these pipes are cold when split is on

s55 always go for LG split A/C like LG Cool Art. Leave all but not this one. LG cool art is the best

Panasonic 1.5 Ton(without sensor) is not cooling since we got it refitted at new house after getting it full serviced both outdoor and indoor unit. First it was throwing hot air, we called the technician and he filled the AC gas as the gas was low. Its cooling is better now but not upto the mark as it was cooling before. AC is 1 year old. Even on 16 temperature and running whole day in a normal room size, its cooling is just less than normal (60%). Compressor keeps on running and running. Please advise should i get it rechecked for gas or remove vaccum or anything else?

Using one ton at home... We bought two unit, Gree and Kenwood some 3 years ago. (1 Ton)
Gree is chilling and can achieve set temp (28 to 24) in around 30 mins but kenwood if set anything below 28 will keep on working 24/7 to achieve it

One more thing. Our Gree is always on in Summers and Kenwood is used at night mostly plus the Kenwood Unit is working with a BIG German Stabilizer and Gree without all the time.

Gree Room got one Wall exposed to Sun most of the time.

Now gree has its name in market .i have bought gree artful 1.5 ton 3 days aga..cooling is awsome and throw is very good..indoor unit is very quite even on full fan...it cost me 48000 and 1500 labour and stand etc...this is new model ..i hve haier 18lko but gree has upper hand all the way

bhai le bhi lia tha.. kayein saal istamaal bhi kia aur kayein baar repair bhi karwaya.. ab main jahan hoon wahan ac lene ka issue nahin.. laga hua hota hai pehle se
