i have bought Gree cool art series in 48000rps...cooling is suberb..i set it on 27C still it is chilling...it is new model as shopkeeper told me and it is very rare as well coa i havnt seen it in market

Ok If i set a temp of lets say 22C. How much time will a ton take and how much time will a 1.5 Ton takes to achieve this? Considering 44C.

BTW 1 Ton takes around 5.5. Amp and 1.5 around 7.5 to 8.5

Its a 1 TON unit.
I am little worried about its performance. My Room is on first floor but there is another room above my room and the walls are not exposed to much Sun. Size 11 X 14.
Still I set it at 27 though the cooling looked ok but in 2 hours the AC couldent reach 27 to turn off kept on working.
Plus these idiot installer I hate them. they dun have any knowledge and they are in so much hurry they dont even check leakage just hang and run. I am thinking of getting its gas checked from Gree.
I also got another gree 3 year old CZ6 1 Ton series even its cooling feels a bit better.

cover the exposed roof Top with a mixture of 40% white glue 60% Choona compound do at least 2 coats during the sunlight hours and feel the interior difference. I get it done in our Islamabad place in F -8/4 once every 2 years. at start of Spring since 1992. Survives the rain, keep heat in the room during winters & cool in summers 12 x 18 room cools down to 24C with a 1.5 ton upright aircon in 21 minutes & maintains it during 11.45 am till 4.30 pm

I just need to talk to you regarding how to get this done to save money, i could better spend that money in buying an AC after doing this glue and chunna thing

i have bought haier 1.5 ton..problem is whenever i start my split its indoor unit produce gas sound and that sound remains 5 to 8 sec..my concern is gas leakage...can any body help me is it normal?
gas sound is loud too..

its not leakage. it is gas when it starts to circulate in the pipes. the sound is normal. dont sweat.

I purchased Gree Gs-18CZ9S 1.5ton. It is new in series. Low voltage start up(upto190V).
Room size is 22*13, two walls directly expose to the sun for 6 hours till sun fall and roof bear full time heat of sun.

The room temperature easily go up to 39C. Within ten minutes it can bring the temperature to the 27C. Its air throw is very good.

Why a window type? I still like them as they have a different feel to the cooling!
