Best CDI for honda deluxe 125

My honda deluxe 125 struggles to reach higher rpm. It start losing power at around 9k rpm. And i am sure this is because of the cdi which i installed after my original cdi was no longer working. So kindly suggest me some good quality cdi for my bike

why go for rickshaw you could have problems with that like crazy acceleration but bad fuel average or missing from the start go for genuine cdi of delux

The problem with my bike just vanished. Installed genuine cdi of honda dream 125. And to my surprise my deluxe is performing really good. Now engine revs all the way upto 11k rpm in every gear

CDI has the rev limiter, as well as engine timing, you can't just swap cdi units of different engines.

You are right. But its the same cdi which comes with deluxe too. No difference. Same charge storage capacity.

Cg Dream has small plug then orignal delux so go fo orginal delux unit see if rpm goes more than 11k? or it runs at 110+ with 6-7 rpm? while punching all 5 gears

I using my deluxe with 15t front sprocket. So my bike is achieving full 11k rpm till 4th gear. Without any misfire. And there is no difference between cg dream and deluxe plug. Dream 125 has same engine like cg 125. Deluxe engine is different but the plug is same. Never asked for deluxe plug to any dealer instead i ask them to give me cg’s plug.

Btw i didn’t get you. 110+ On 6 - 7k rpms? How is even possible. My bike does 105 at 9k rpm. 110 at 9.5-10k rpm

In 5th gear. With 15t front sprocket. Stock is 14t. Honda deluxe 125. 2017 model

or digital i would like to match engine specs of cg125 with delux 125

The engine specs of deluxe are unknown till date. They haven’t mentioned any difference between both the engines. But deluxe’s piston, rod, valves , clutch are nonidentical to cg. In short deluxe engine has bigger bore and shorter stroke than cg.

Even both the bikes don’t share same cranks. Due to shorter stroke on deluxe engine it has different crank than cg

but i remember most important think they have different plugs because the things you mentioned run plug on different temperatures . in my theory if you place orignal size plug in your delux you will be able to touch 110 with 14t and 4th gear .

PAST EXPERIENCE this theory was completely working on delux 2010 model with 5 gears at year 2014 nothing was altered or repaired in 2014 it was all genuine .
plus same model 2010 with 5 gears was purchased brand new had same speed . in 2019 near me nobody have delux so i cant give you live example .

Stock 5 gear deluxe will never reach 110kph in 4th gear unless you replace the stock sprockets with cg’s sprocket set. And there is nothing different about plugs. Deluxe has a regular cg’s plug. And i am not sure how plug plays role in bike’s gear ratio
