1 ton inverters are not very efficient, they stabilise at higher amps than 1.5 ton even at smaller room. So ROI is less due to high power consumption.

AC is mostly kept for atleast 5 years, so 1 ton is not future proof either, just in case if one shifts to a bigger house or upper floor in future.

good point but I still dont understand 1.5 ton is enough for big room but 1 ton is not enough for small room (stabilizes at high amp)

i was thinking of a 0.75 Ton for my room which should have been enough but got a room cooler instead and so far going well enough for me, as yet no tension of higher amps, inverter or not, electricity bill etc

13x11 isn't small at all. Definitely requires 1.5 ton.

I said "bigger house", that meant the bedroom will be normal size, most suitable for 1.5 Ton.

Add rs. 20 ice cube (bigger size cube, so they don't dissolve quickly) in cooler and it will be pretty chilling, this is what i used to do in village and it was pretty effective.

I got dawlance non inverter AC running from a very very long time when Dawlance used to be good, now a days they dont last much like u said for 5 years or who knows. I got a kenwood ac last year and it had serious cooling issue, it was like if running on fan only, got rid of it and got a haier inverter ac.

If any of you would like to by DC inverter from market, first get the information about the follwing things.
1. Every AC consists on five componenets i.e Compressor, grills, fan etc. Most of the companies only converted 3 of the componenets out of 5 on DC while other two componenets on AC.
2. See that company have good record of after sale service and parts.
3. Installation must be done by the team of professionals.
If you consider these three points before purchasing AC that will be really beneficial to you.

Lastly i would rate after taking into account above mentioned three points AC brands in the following order.

1. Daikin/Acson but really expensive only few can buy it.(personally using these brands since 2007 never faced any issue)
2. Midea again entered into Pakistan, agood chinese brand, they provided with all of 5 componenets on DC, cooling and Energy efficiency ratio is best in the market, after sale service available, price is also reasonable around 70k to 75k for 1.5ton. ( installed by a friend and one in my own home cooling unparalleled and energy consumption is quite low)
3. Gree/Green Air/Kenwood, they have only 3 components on DC, performance is well, parts available. ( mostly people rate them good brands on the basis of the huge sale of Gree).

Now decide by yourself on the basis of above mentioned descriptiin.

Hi I am using hier ac it consume 1200 units in 24 days I think it consume a lot units.

I wana buy DC inverter ac so went on 2 shops one guy saying buy pel Inverteron 1.5 ton heat/cool ac in 65000 rs it reduce my bill 2nd guy saying buy mustubahi inverter ac or gree.

Which one was good here with me ac was on 24/7 from April to October.

I have window general ac on 2nd meter but that cost me almost 65 to 70 units per day.

What you guys think about Haier HSU-18SGF (1.5 Ton DC inverter) I am getting it for 64k. Any better suggestion under 65k budget?

Sharing my experience..... A lot of people and I used to downplay Dawlance. But I went to the market and saw that they were offering a 12 year warrantee and I thought what the heck... lets give it a try. So i got it for 58K. Not too expensive for a DC Inverter 1.5 Ton AC. I knew that Inverter ACs work initially at around 10 amperes and eventually fall down to 2.5 to 3 amperes. BTW 1 amp is roughly equal to 230 - 250 Watts.

To my surprise, Dawlance doesn't go above 8 and within an hour comes down to 0.3 amps. Which is crazy good. This means that most of the night, my ac is only using as much energy as a fan!!! I have been very pleasantly surprised by this and the cooling is veryyyy effective. So consider that as well. I got the Dawlance Aura inverter 30.

Ya, Haier is shit. I'm stuck with 2 ac's and a fridge, below avg quality and constant kharcha of maintenance, Kabhi kuchh kharab Kabhi kuchh. I think I've spent half ac worth money fixing the problems of my ac. Refrigerator is lul as well.

Yahan lahore mei BC, new vibrator of AC from company costs 5500 rs. But here people sell second hands vibrators of split ac for 7000.
