in my opinion, every laptop which is being furbished for Pakistani market is worthless, ranging from Acer till Toshiba or Sony. my recommendation is, if u have some relative or friend abroad, pay him and tell him to bring a laptop of your choice here in Pakistan. i got one (HP Pavilion DV6 Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD) in 2010 when it was new, rather this model was rarely available in Pakistan. back then, myshop.com guys were asking for 79 thousand for this machine, and i got it for 64k from USA. later on, i compared it with the stuff which was being sold here in Pakistan, and boy, the difference was of oceans. the built quality, performance, the feel of the laptop, they were so so different. it has been more than two years now that the laptop has been in use with me. for an year in between, i was in africa, and trust me there have been times when i shut down the laptop after 4 continuous days of keeping it on (yes...u read that right), and even now the laptop is super perfect MashAllah. meanwhile in parallel, other guys bought Dell and XYZ laptops, in all price ranges and brands and specs, and meanwhile when i was in Africa, more than 75 percent of them had already developed one problem on another. hard disk crashing, hinges getting loose (very very famous in Dells), slow speed, windows crashing, overheating (and yes...those were all Dells) and the list goes on. the point i wanna make here is that please dont waste ur hard earned money by buying something from here, specially electronics. try to source it from abroad, and u wud never ever repent. just my brotherly advice
PS : over heating of HP is just a hoax which most of the guys just hear about and quote here. i am quoting my own as an example. and btw, every laptop with a graphics card gets heated up, may it be of any brand.
