It would be better to replace the bushes if they've dried up. About the takk sound, I can think of one more thing which I've personally experienced. Check if the brake pads are tightly fitted in the calipers and dont have play in them. I had a similar issue in my corolla, even though genuine brake pads were used, but the mechanic probably used old shims on them. That caused them to sit loosely in the calipers. When brakes were applied, the brake pad would slide forward a mm or two due to the circular motion of the wheels and would collide with the caliper making a 'takk' sound. The shims were then replaced and the issue was resolved.

20v is OBD-0/1 So This Scanner Of OBD-II Won't Work....

For Knock Sensor...Check Continuity Between Terminal & BODY Of Sensor(Ground)....It Shld NOT Exist...If It Does..>Replace Sensor

sometimes its a loose connector also....make sure its secured tight from both ends

@ser_gtr i had done that few times, then i also went for adjusting timing of engine but didnt help that much.
Thanks to member @owais_yunus who convinced that it can be found locally. cutting long story short , i went to Asghar Khan(the engine guy in Pindi) and got a quite similar sensor. And Alhamdulillah, now its working fine.

Check light on smaller interval was driving me crazy, plus the pick was very much reduced

I dont know exactly how it triggered, but i connected fuel pump directly to the switch to check its pressure by bypassing circuit opening relay, and for few moments pick does felt enormous before the check light got on.

I bought another one, i think it is of 1NZfe

It Was Faulty Sensor......It May Have Gone Weak And Triggering CEL WIth Minor Vibration

You Need To Connect LED With Resistor For Putting Min Load On VVT Transistor.....Bulb Will Put Too Much Extra Load On Transistor Inside ECU Which Can Burn It.....So LED Is Way To Do It...You Can use LED

Only one engine mount was to be made, otherwise it was bolt-on

So it means that converter will convert the codes to OBDII but an OBDII Scanner wont be able to retrieve values?
