sshuja, dream on buddy..... Merc is the one feeling the pain... and it shows in every dept it is trying to compete with BMW. I am not being biased here at all... MB and AMG brand is just not what it used to be.. BMW and its M dept has taken the lead....

100 years... my friend that is biased... explain what u mean by that. what cars have you driven yourself to prove that and isnt it not true that these even very similar car manufacturers have totally different approach when they built one. hence a different crowd that buys them. Ofcourse i will not hesitate to own a Merc because i know it is well built. But I will always lean on BMW coz they fiz my philosophy better... and please..... dont even get me started on Technology coz u know ur AMG department will loose.......

and here once again the soo called 100 years ahead E55 looses to M5.... not to mention the E55's primary customers are rich women from beverly hills who are ashamed to buy a regular merc .... and please dont even think about adding a couple of twisties coz u know AMG doesnt have it....
I have alot of respect for AMG and its carsss. but then people like sshuja talks like that... its just not fair....

The E65 and S65 have an edge in straight line. no one denies that. But the M5 has an edge in handling.. no one denies that too. My point was to sshuja, who commented about 100 years gap.... i wish he would clear on that part. I would lov to know where, in which dept...if it is straight line acceleration. There are many videos on youtube just seach where M5 slightly tunned edges in that dept too over a S65.. and still be cheaper in $$$ value to own.. who ever spends 100K can spend another 10k and still beath the merc, stay in warranty from BMW...

sshuja was comparing a E36 to E55
I am comparing a 335i which is not even M, but Vishnu means it is tunned agaisnt E55 which is AMG tunned and yes even tough it did beat the merc it doesnt mean BMW is 100 years ahead... thats the point i was driving.. And i do believe its an ok comparison. not perfect but ok.

Your soo called BIG ENGINE is not invincible my friend... Kelleners can stay within the M5's engine and beat that BIG ENGINE without forced induction or 6.5L.....
