Booked my cultus VXL 1.5 months ago. And now being charged the New increased price!

Hello pakwheel users.
I am having a problem.
Last month on 18 June I booked Cultus VXL with delivery time of 1-2 months. I asked them about the future price increase so they told us that if suzuki increases the price of the car then it will have no effect but government changes in tax will be applied. It’s even mentioned on the terms and conditions.
We didn’t got a single call about anything. Then after the price increase, we called Suzuki on 1st July and the guy said that we have to pay the new price of cultus regardless of the government tax (which has also been increased).
Then we got a message about our delivery date and showroom .
Just recently we called suzuki again on 20th July and they told us that the situation isn’t even clear to them and the new policy will be issued on 25th of July, till then it is likely that you have to pay the new price.
We are very much tensed because we can’t pay 19 lakh for cultus.

Toyota and Honda have that policy that the applicable price will be the one that is at the time of the delivery so if prices increase before your car is delivered you will have to pay the extra amount.

Suzuki has better policy that the price is set at the time of booking and if prices are increased later you wont get affected as long as its a price increase not any additional tax by the government.

So as far as i remember there was no FED around the time you booked the car but now there is so you may have to pay that FED. Calculated on your invoice price not the new one. You will have to pay extra FED but not the price increase

I hope that is the case because the guy on the phone said that the new policy will be issued by 25th of July.
And I don’t know whether they will change this term or not.
But it is written about the the price increase not effecting the price of previously booked vehicle in their terms and conditions.
Lets hope they don’t do that otherwise

read the fine print over order form / payment receipt.

any changes / revisions in govt taxes will be charged from the customer at time of delivery.
Price change will apply till such time delivery note is signed and vehicle is away from the dealership.

I also booked last month now they have are demanding me to pay FED only.. and other question from my side are they making some changes in Suzuki Cultus?? Adding lcd etc??

No solution, just pay what they say, or get back your advance dep

They told that any changes in government taxes will be paid which also includes FED.
However changes by suzuki motors on the price of the car will not be applicable.
It’s written in their terms too.

If the date on the invoice is on or after 1st July, FED has to be applied, but on the price at time of booking which i think was 1546000.

I booked vxl on 29 June and had to pay fed 39k later, just got delivery. So no extra money need to be paid if you had paid them full before price hike
Btw they gave me delivery time of 2 months but I received it within 22 days

Yes that is justified.
They have already added that clause in the PBO that you will have to pay Govt Taxes if they are enforced at any time. Shukar karain sirf FED deni paray gi Toyota ya Honda ki gaari hoti apko new price k extra paisay denay partay.

I booked VXL on 28th June, the dealer took 20k on money from me too because I needed the car on urgent basis. Haven't received the car yet but the dealer says it'll be sorted in this month. Paid the extra 39k FED on top as demanded. Hopefully will get the car soon.

Could you please tell me about any charges you paid when you got the delivery? Like registration and stuff.

well i didn't gave him any on money, according to dealer sales of car is slow due to price hike that's why i got the car in 22 days instead of 2 months

Sale invoice comes after collection of car, i am expected to get that today, registration fee will be charged by excise department when i would go for registration, according to Islamabad Excise fee calculator i have to pay 38,000 including 10,000 for life time token

But I have pair 5 lakh something to them on the time of booking and they told me that you have to pay the rest of money at time of delivery. Its written in the terms and conditions 15 days before.
I caled suzuki last night they told me I have to pay 11 lakh16 thousand now which previously was 10 lakh 66 thousand so I suppose they have only added the government tax and FED.
He also told me that the tentative date is 24th of August, 2 months and 8 days from booking.
So when should I pay the remaining money to avoid the late delivery payment thing? And will the car really arrive that late?

I don't know about suzuki but if your payment was partial, then you'll have to pay the rest amount at the time of delivery with price increase and taxes (for honda and toyota).
Why don't you get your money back instead of paying more for FED?

You paid 20K OWN and haven't got the delivery?

You haven't paid full payment, thats why you're getting late delivery.
