Just had a look on the sticker under the unit and found three diff amp values pulled by the AC during cooling. Any idea what does that employ and is it same as amps being drawn by Mr Slim AC ?

I Appreciate Sir Panther for posting detail info with pics of Mitsubishi AC that he bot. It gave me some Idea since I am searching for a good reliable brand AC for my big room. I read Mitsubishi is the best so far.

Could sir panther pls update us on how well this AC is working in terms of cooling/noise etc -looks for your feedback.

Could anyone share the latest rates of Mitsu Split AC's in market for - mr.slim/ xtreme. Also, latest model/style available.

Which model in Mitsu do you suggest is the best so far with its cost.

Actually I am very satisfied with This AC and have decided to stick to this brand in future. Had a very bad exp with Orient and expect other local brands to be as bad.
If u are willing to pay the high price , this is the one for u. I am working in Multan these days and even at temps reaching 50C this AC worked fine.

This unit is of MHI i.e. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which is not related to the famous Mitsubishi Electric UK in any case. MHI focuses on industrial use appliances mainly. Though I have no idea about its product quality. Might be possible they are using Mitsu compressors in their units.
The ampere chart they boost on their sticker you provided, is quite efficient. Do let us know that how much is the running current it is consuming in real?

well i was gona buy one and i found mitsubishi mr slim is short in the market. and they showed me this heavy duty one. but there was a one dealer shop here haq electronics who had this mr slim. plenty of them , orignal not china .,
and i bought it . its working great infact every thing in this room is cool , mobile charger bed sheet , comp table, glass, chairs, and me . lol. i hope ur heavy duty works good also. i bought it for 55 k price is high as compare to others but its durable and cooling is perfect. and it changes the room temp within 10 minuts

I am using MHI ac from last three years, extermly satisfied , even bought another one after first year, and now i have three of the same and still no regrets and complaints.

Hello Mr.Panther,
I just came across this thread and found it to be really useful. Actually I also bought the same MHI SRC20CEVK AC last summer i.e. in 2010 for Rs.53,000 in Lahore. My cousin bought a Mr.Slim Advance 1.5 tons in the same season. I found its performance to be quite superior than my MHI. actually it also depends on what is the room size and is the room on ground floor or first floor. Can I know the dimensions of the room in which YOU installed your AC. My room's size is 17feet X 11feet and height is also about 11.5 feet. Also my room is on first floor and sun light comes on one of its walls and roof. I checked the POWER CONSUMPTION through an ampere meter and it was around 8.5 Ampere in the running condition. Actually you would have noticed that there are many modes i.e. High Power, Econo mode etc. and I think the three different ampere ratings are due to that.
I also wanted to know that did you get the AC installed from the company person and did you pay the 3000 or say installation charges or less? I actually got it installed from a local electrician and was wondering whether this is the cause of the not so good performance of the AC?
I apologize if this is too long a post for any one's reading...

mitusbishi is really good but on second place is electrolux. it has equally good performance but a lower price tag it also looks good.
