Bought new Fortuner 2.7 petrol

MashAllah guys purchased new Fortuner today.
This is 4x2 petrol, chosen this one as my Father wants to use it for his normal use therefore didnt preferred to buy Diesel one though have tested Diesel and its real fast i think.

But anyways.. MashAllah i love this colour.
Suggest me for any good upgrades.

I would suggest you to get front cam ( I don’t remember if it has the stock front cam or not, ours 2.7 4x4 didn’t had it).
Baqi 5D mats would be a good addition, though they need daily cleaning using a damp cloth.

Umm no this also dont have front cam, is it possible to install front cam on it easily?

Btw auto locking system is very good in this version.

Yes it is front cam ready. The wiring is there, you just need to install the cam at the front.

Is it 4x2, as you mentioned? Not 4x4? Too late now but if spending so much you should have gotten everything. Still a very good purchase

Masha Allah but,

1- Jerkiness or “shift shock” in the gear box
Toyota Fortuner, particularly its 2.4 automatic transmission, encountered this problem early last year.
when you slow the vehicle down in Sport mode during downshifts. It happens when you shift at 35 kph or even 80 kph.

2- Fuel Injection pump failure
The fuel injection pump is almost like the heart of a car. It has two most important roles: (1) It pushes fuel to the injectors, and (2) It gives the right amount of pressure to the injectors so they can give off the correct amount of fuel.

MashAllah I have a 2.7 one but 4x4 2017 one enjoy it simple light tints will add some look 2 it. Rest loads of asserories available in market from body kits to grills.

A bit hard suspension i think but really worth it to buy, wonders why people purchase and sell and biy used prado, no doubt japanese and local manufacturing have big diff in terms of comfort but still this is a wise choise.

Yes it is 4x2, since they have introduced diesel version, petrol version is 4x2 now.
And i think indus motors did well bcoz you dont need to have 4x4 on regular basis, those who want to enjoy 4x4 can have diesel version... simple

Congratulations on your new purchase. I have a Sigma 4 in Diesel and love the torque and power. What I have done is light tint, back one full tint and added a Tesla Style LCD which really changes the shape of the dashboard and makes it look awesome. Moreover a TRD Grill is also not a bad option in front, however you may not like that for your father. One suggestion only, don't try to do off-road with it at all, and be very careful in rainy and slipery roads because rear wheel with no 4*4 is a very dangerous preposition on off-road situations where the wheels will just spin out and can cause danger of sliding and skiding. Also snow is and ice or other big hazards for a two ton beast with no 4*4. Best of luck and enjoy your ride.
