Calling all future City owners having 31st March 2017 as their delivery date

AOA,

I have booked my Honda city 1.3 M/T on Jan 6th 2017 from Honda Shahrah-e-Faisal Karachi and received 31st March 2017 as tentative delivery date however after going through Pakwheels forum I came to know that majority of people have received their cars at least 10-15 days before their actual delivery was due and some have received it even earlier than that whereas in my case there are no signs of on time delivery yet let alone receiving it before the tentative date.

I would like to know if someone who has/had 31st March 2017 as their delivery date has received his/her car or are they delaying it throughout the country.

I had 31st March delivery date but got it on the 1st, but I booked the car 13th december last year.

I booked on 6th Jan and got the delivery date of 31 Jan. My car was delivered on 1st Feb. so be patient hopefully you will get it in this week.

which variant did you booked? and from where?

well that makes sense, did you received any text message when it was dispatched from the factory? the showroom guy told me that you will receive a text message when the car will be dispatched.

I booked Aspire 1.5 MT. As for the SMS, I booked it through bank and the bank got a call from the dealer that the car had been delivered.

Did you check the status from the honda website?

yes I did, it shows tentative delivery date which actually is 31st March 2017 however I don't think they will deliver it on the given date because as per my knowledge they either deliver it before the tentative date or after it and since the actual delivery date is just around the corner with no signs of delivery yet I assume it will be delayed.

We were chill about it. Never made any calls or got any sms. We got a call from the dealership on 1st that your car is here. Ours is 1.3MT.

Best people to answer this question is the dealership, ask him if it has been dispatched or not maybe you didn't get the SMS due to a network glitch. If it hasn't been dispatched yet, then you'll miss the date itself.

One advantage that you have is that you booked a manual cuz the automatic versions take very long.

I booked my 1.3 MT on 07 Jan 17 and delivery date is 31 Mar. I booked it from Lahore, Kalma Chowk, Honda Show Room. Still no signs of delivery. I asked the dealer a month ago and he said that it will be delivered by the mentioned date. Didn't ask recently so no idea when it will be delivered.

Booked my Aspire 1.5 PT on Dec 8th 2016, Tentative DD is 31-Mar-2017 through Honda Qaideen Karachi. Still no news for delivery.

I booked my City in February and tentative delivery date on website is 30 August. I have to wait five months to get it.

I Have booked my car on 9th november ,and i got the tentative date on 28 feb 2017. but as it is 29-march-2017, still i have not received my car honda city aspire PT from honda dealership HONDA AVENUE rawalpindi. still they are telling me different excuses and not confirming any date for my car delivery.
kidly kind me what should i do? what fraud/scam are the doing with me? whom should i contact ,what should i do, help needed guyz .

my car is to be delivered on the 31st of March and I think it might face the same fate as yours however for you I would recommend going down to the showroom and deal with them strictly so that they know you are seriously pissed and mean business or may be gather a few more people having the same issue and take them along with you,

I mean 5 months for delivering a damn car is more than enough.

Damn them. It's as they are bestowing on us generously a new car free of cost. There must be some legal way to bring them to justice.
