Calling all future City owners having 31st March 2017 as their delivery date

They said we will confirm ur car status on 3rd april ,so let see what they are upto.
do u know how they compensate on late delivery ?
and i have got all the relevent info about consumer court.i am looking to it.but problem is their terms n conditions which i signed on registration form for booking,which make them safe in may ways.
brother i want to know the reason for delay,as i m worried,like if my car has arrived n they are utlizing it in something else,or what are the possibilities for their other scams?
plus if my car arrived what should i look are do as to confirm my car is not used by someone else ,r any other possibility aswell.

I also booked my city aspire 1.3 from Quaideen Karachi and I have been given the delivery date of 31st March. This is my first time even booking or purchasing a car. Throughout I have listened to vague confirmations, timelines and have found the people present at the showroom have just no knowledge of the cars dispatch and actual delivery timelines.

What bothered me more is when I was discussing the delivery issue with the showroom guy he told me try to find a reference in Honda only that way I could get a quick delivery and that just made me furious and started a argument that here I am paying these scumbags 1.85 million of my hard earned money and instead of them being apologetic and at-least trying to make some effort to pursue my case they are telling me to find a reference like I am asking for a loan or these people are doing me some favor. I think the public in general are more to blame when they just become door mat to any and everyone who seem to take advantage of their position and never even take a stand for what is right.

Honestly this is my first time booking a new car and so far the experience has been quite deplorable, the dealers are completely oblivious about everything and I mean everything not just the delivery date and they only serve the purpose of acting as dummies filling the vacant chairs in the showroom.

As for your case, I think you should be the one taking advantage of the situation and dealing with them strictly rather than being subjugated by them, now coming to the compensation part I remember I read somewhere on Pakwheels about a sum paid by the company for late delivery but that amount of money was too low to cover any loss suffered by the aggrieved party.

one month delay is something to be really concerned about. I have a bad feeling that your dealer has already sold your car on 'own'. Plus you did all the waiting, and now its one month above the tentative date how can they even friggin delay it further? The only possible reason is that kay wohi gaari bechdi hai aapki kisi aur ko..

Website said delivery on 31 Mar 2017.
Got delivery on 29 Mar 2017.
Picked up the car with registration and insurance all done on 30 Mar 2017.

The dealership staff though didn't have any information before the delivery date itself, but they were very cooperative throughout the process. The main guideline you should be looking at at the website delivery date, if that's passed then talk to Honda (the company), the dealership might not be able to help you there.

I have booked Honda City 1.3MT from Honda Point Lahore with a delivery "tentative date" of 31st march on honda atlas webpage.
Well nobody informed me anything about any SMS!
Very unprofessional staff, they don't give a flying fk once they have received the payment.
One of my friends work at Porsche Pakistan and through him i came to know that if Porsche is committing 3months that means car is ready to be delivered on third month where they have to send clients requirement to Porsche intl then it goes in production line and later it is shipped to Pakistan.
raise of demand can add mass assembling unit? Aren't they charging more than intl standards? Honda international needs to do something about it or else Honda Pakistan monopoly will keep their customers unhappy and unsatisfied, which seems to be there motto!

Nope, No dispatch SMS received. However, we did get a due date SMS when we booked it. Also, as a community service, even though I've received delivery of the car, I'm still monitoring the website for the delivery status and nothing has changed on the website. I would expect that the system starts saying "Delivered" or something else, but so far no update. Will keep you gents posted on this.

My delivery date for City 1.3 is today March 31st, 2017. At the time of booking I was told delivery time is 2 months and on rare cases it could take up to 3 months.

So today marks the end of 3 months of wait and up-till now have received no sms regarding any dispatch whenever I speak to the dealership people they just have no clue on when the car would be delivered and always told me to wait till my deadline date of 31st. Also by the end of month 2 they called me for remaining balance saying once the balance is cleared my delivery would be expedited.

So all in all these people are just a lying piece of crap and I would be visiting the dealership tomorrow to get a confirmed deadline. To all those whose deadline have passed by I would advice them to leave the professional and diplomatic approach aside and give these scammers a piece of your mind so they are forced to take these commitment seriously.

I took delivery of my car on 1st Feb and the website is still showing the same status as it was before the delivery date.

So today I went to the showroom to inquire about my car status and to deal with them strictly but fortunately I had a good news waiting for me, they told me that my car has been dispatched and showed a dispatch list having my name on top of it.

Hopefully by Monday or Tuesday I will receive it and as soon as I do I will update it here but neither did I received any message regarding the dispatch status nor did the dealership informed me about it.

Honestly I am still not sure if I will receive it on the said days, can someone please confirm how many days it takes for the car to arrive after it is dispatched?

@kabbasi1 , How many cars were on the list? As my car DD is also 31-Mar-2017 and booking was done through Honda Qaideen Karachi.
