Caltex coolant rate?

Salaam.
Can anybody tell me what is the cost of Caltex coolant these days, in which colour it come and how much 1 bottle contains? (500 ml or 1 litre)??

is it best for suzuki cultus?

Get yourself 2 L bottle of Osaka Coolant that will be around 230 Rs.

bought two bottles couple of months back at around 500 each didnt remember exactly, its red in color and in liter packing, more like dark dark orange, you gotta dilute it 50%, i only recommend distilled water for that purpose, its good for any machine i beleive

Actually i use SEOL coolant 2 bottles(500 ml each) 5 months back with water.
but after 3 months green colour vanished and radiator become rusty, so now i am thinking to clean the radiator and fill it with full coolant.....

what do you suggest?? Beside caltex, since it is expensive. What do you say about DK coolant?? is it better than OSAKA?

to use Caltex coolant 2 bottles (1 litre each) and fill rest of the radiator with water??

use caltex dear, its good and long term investment you don't change coolant in months.

heard that DK is good, but dont have any experience, i got caltex as said and it is going good so far, once i toped up and by now it never needed to be taken care of. and dont think of putting pure coolent afterall its chemial and in its pure form its thick, always follow recommendation on pack about dilution.

i dont know exact how much your car's radiator will intake, but premix the coolant with water then add into the system

I have a pink coloured coolant in my coure since i bought it about more than 3 years ago.

Still the its colour is intact and also no heat up problems.

Very rarely I top it up with a little tap water

Its Toyota Long Life Coolant and its bottle 3.75 Ltr is Rs. 2350 now but its available with less price from big Drums in Saddar last year checked Rs, 350/ltr

thanks for your advice, brother i have 4 litre radiator coolant capacity.
What you suggest to fill it with 2 bottles of Caltex??
and rest will be with water? but what type of water? either mineral water or Tap-water??

yes it would take two bottles to top up your car's radiator

minerals are salts in water, so when added into the system it will clog the lines, so it should'nt be mineral at all, just boil water for 5 minutes it would be enough, thats what i've done

its not like you change coolant every other month so inspect your system's hose pipes too, if they show even little signs of wear replace them because it would be around a year you will disconnect hose pipes next time

Will it help in mehran too bcz my mehran is heating up rapidly usually whn i stuck in traffic jams the guage goes above 90 degree start moving towaRd red zone will collant help me radiator n engine is ok

Malik, You need to get ur cooling system checked, Its a bad radiator or weak fan or maybe some other engine problem.

Coolant can help in heating for about 5% to 8% thats my observation not more than that.

the main purpose of coolant is to protect your engine and cooling system from rust, and also protect water from freezing or boiling at certain temp.

Also coolant helps if your car is decreasing water level.

Well viqas my radiator is all right thr was no blockage in it n fan also works fine as checked my electrition n i hav done engine overhauling recentlyso engine is in gud condition I was getting tht prob before overhaul as well bt nw as engine is ok prob hav 2 be solved bt its nt actually i want 2 get advice frm mehran owners wht they say abt temp guage bcz i heard mehran heatup early on cng
