Can i clean evoporator with castic soda, as it is very dirty and greasy type material on it.

My vitz 2008 in traffic jams mostly or when parked etc with ac on the ac stops cooling after some time and wont start cooling again until i turn of the ac for 4-5 minutes , is dat a sign of weak compressor ? Compressor overheating or wht ?

Gauges can tell better. Get pressures

The click is not from the compressor but its from the ac button on the dash..and civic 8th gens dont have a thermostat they have an evaporator temperature sensor

Oh... civic... btw thr function is the same.... sensor to cut off current and turn the compressor off

And even if you do somehow you would not be able to control the PWM signal. So fan may run at max.

Sir why do these cars have single
Fan?like corolla,reborn and new dinkies from japan ie alto2010 Two fans were not feasible on these cars?People used to say for better cooling two are must ..on for radiator and separate for condenser.If this thoery is so much right then why does mehran struggles with single fan ..yes compressor position is odd but lets forget that .lastly whats the theory behind the fan speed? Why does it operate like this ? Slowly and then maximum and vice versa

The click is bcoz of a relay that someone installed .
... if no sound when ignition off then definitely a relay...

Bro i have a mehran with success condencer and duet compressor,and all other parts are of sanden i think.But cooling is very poor what to do.Recently i checked the gas pressure it was 55psi at 35*c,I also concerned a mechanic he said gas in the system is chines or fake.
Plz suggest me something. @afnan.bashir@Xulfiqar

Ac wont start cooling when the car starts in the morning until i start my journey

When during journey it stops cooling which i suspected to be compressor over heating if i down shift and keep the engine in high revs it starts cooling again by its self

There could be a few things. Other than equipment your gas could be china one. Equipment dont add to that bad performance than gas does. Secondly what was HIGH and Low side Pressure. With ambient temperature you got to tell vent temp

If you park the car while you are not cooling, raise the rpm while car stationary. If cooling happens then things can be. 1. Low gas Pressure. 2. Restricted TXV valve 3. Bad Compresser.

If car only cools while in motion this means that your condenser fails to do heat exchange stuff check for debris and fans and overall condition of condenser

caz i had replaced my radiator, condensor assembly about 6 months back plus i had repaired my compressor , it wuz leaked
may be its leaked again

Check both sides pressure and you will know what is wrong by main image in this thread

This is a design question. . U need to ask james thompson and **** fun lee ..... but i tell u one thing gora does not make stupid things... they make things which work.... there r types of radiators 'single nali wala' 'double nali wala' ..... now if ur question is why does a single fan work in corola and nt mehran.... lots of factors. .. some cud be a bigger fan fof corola... a bigger radiator to cope up with engine and ac heat.... more powerful water body ( which circulates the water in the engine and radiator ) ... more water capacity. .. combine all this and then it seems fair that u can.have one fan.... Instead of 2..... lastly type of engine cud also matter... how much heat does it produces... so just by fitting one fan in mehran u wont get the result of a bifger car. . U need to add other dynamics too... the science of multi stage fan speed is also simple.. it works as per temperature. .. and when ac is on... the thing is bypassed and fan works at full speed.... bcoz ac alone produces a lot of heat and puts a lot of load on the engine. ... therr ac heat + extra heat from engine due to over work = need for full hifi fan speed

high is280psi
low is 56psi
and it blows only slightl cold air thats it.
I recently changed the compressor the new comp is of duet is in good condition it was making pressure even with hand.

Well in my opinion freezing is being caused by no cutoff. Check your Thermostat. @xulfiqar may provide help here

Im afraid.. there cud be moisture in ur system. .. which is freezing as cold refrigerant neighbours it
