My city 2001's ac did cool the car on fan speed 1 2 in july temp outside was around 40c with 6 ppl is it performing well? 2ndly on long route aftr 100 kms or so cold water drops on drivers shoes,, i refilled the gas n compressor oil in june,, shopkeepr said k "3 4 par chlao fan ko thori dyr long py braf ban jati hy low fan par" . evap drain is fine,, wt could b da reasn??

6 ppl.... 40 degrees outside. 2001 model car....1 2 fan speed..... still ur asking is it performing well.... u must be k and n's frozen chicken when u wud be driving alone

Well in my opinion freezing is being caused by no cutoff. Check your Thermostat. @Xulfiqar may provide help here

I checked the wiring,thermostate is bypass by some mech.

Did the compressor not turn on ? Looks like a component of compressor clutch

A friends MB W203 is only blowing cold air for the back passengers.
It has separate evaporator for the back or what?
What could be the problem?

This is a coil which when energized creates a magnetic field.This attract the metal disk known as clutch. You can do resistance test to see if removed one was bad

Find The source. If water is tipping of the duct pipes these are due to humidity. Thing is that this can not be related to speed. If it is this means outside air is making its way into cabin from some opening

I own Alto Vxr 2007. I need to refill the gas in AC (Gas leaked accidentally by a mechanic)
The issue is when AC was turned on the noise was too much it was like i have not turned on AC but a washing machine(An old nosiy one)
Is it normal for Suzuki Alto VXR 2007 ? I have to now refill gas also How much would gas cost and total Mazdoori etc ? An AC guy told be 3k-4k(4k if any leakage) isnt it too high? Please advise i am tight on budget since i also need to get Rims and some stuff for car..

The cost of original gas is rs. 600.... i got mine filled from empty to full (600 grams) total ... original gas is rs. 1000/kg. And no more than 600 700 grams is needed to fully fill a unit from zero to full.... i have cultus..... rest... its upto u how much ull pay the ac guy

From where did you got the gas filled? Is there any different quality in AC gas?

Yup lots of qualities... so called usa.... france.... china...

Genetron is said to be usa and he best... freon is i think french.. china is china.... less cooling.... more waste...

It is very hard to get someone who uses legit stuff. Thing is if your car AC Turned on even with no gas get your things checked up. There is a switch that prevents such things. Low or high pressure it wont turn on AC.

You can buy good gas can, i think Freezer is a good brand. Charge it by weight. See what your car requires/ its under hood
