product wise people says meguiar's > mothers > turtle
price is also same way,so it depends on whats ur budget,for me even turtle's black box works pretty well
u can use same wash for step 1 n 3
yes first wash the car to clean it,then clay n then wash again to clean the clay residue
after that you can compound then polish then cleaner wax and then you must use wax atleast at the end to protect the paint
for compound get either one of meg's or mothers
for polish you can get mothers step1 or 2,dont remember exactly but one of them is polish
i think step1 is compound n step2 is polish
n then u can apply step 3 wax at the end or meg's gold class
n lastly if u want extended protection apply sealent like turtle's ice synthetic or 3m's performance finish or meg's NXT

hey everybody, this is my first go at detailing. I have a Curoe 2000, so I washed it first using nothing else but shampoo (Sastay log ) then I used Cosmic wax to polish the car.

Unfortunately, the night I waxed it, it rained

So I again washed it this morning.

Please do tell me how I did

u should use turtle wax.. it will last longer and give a deep colour... apply it with an applicator and clean it with a microfiber cloth..

Masha Allah. If this is original paint work its in good condition and can definitely be improved with the correct procedure meaning no more cheap stuff. Cosmic does give a wet look and a smooth feel to the paint but it lacks durability......and quality control :P. So i'll advise you to buy a better quality wax which suits your budgets.
Also, please post better quality pics from a camera other than mobile phone if possible. The headlights need to be restored too.

P.S: NEVER, i say put your can of wax on the car as it causes scratches.

Thank you sir for the praise, this is the original paint, but I am the third owner so naturally some discoloration is there.

This was my first time waxing a car so I applied whatever I could find but yeah, I would like to use some more effective waxes in the future I was hoping you people could guide me as I am a complete amateur when it comes to waxes (par not too expensive as I am student and very broke :P). The head lights do need restoration I tried the toothpaste method and it gave reasonable results, but I am going to get them done professionaly

Oh and I am sorry about the poor quality of images, next time it will be better. And the next time the can of wax will not be on the roof

Thankyou well at first i washed my car with gold class car wash shampoo.. Then dried it with water magnet foam. Next product used was Meguiars Clay kit each panel at a time. then used SwirlX which did a decent job removing most of the swirls. Then Waxed the car with Nxt Generation tech wax. I didnt applied 2 layers of wax because i was exhausted as i dont have polishing machine yet. What i observed is that now i need a stronger swirl remover . Will try Ultimate compound in a few weeks.

Used microfiber cloth and applicator for all the above procudures.

Hahahhaha JAZAKALLAH BRO ,yes doing a suv is tough job specially when getting into tight places with not proper tools ,lol cousin and aprection lol no bro he acted like jaisaye mera farz hai yeh sab karna and since car came from wedding its not been washed and Allah bacahye its looking hideous :(, meri wedding ki baat na karo bahi i am only 17 ^^ apki wedding pehlaye aye gi and dc stickers sai kiyaa yaad kara diya old memoreis ,yeh sticker zori liye gaye thaye usman bahi sai by me and @talhahanif
