car is suprinsgly completely swirl free, and paint thickness on feel (i don't have a gauge), seems to be even better than my 06 altis especially in corners of panels

sir @vague_one this is my first merc, you have lot of experience with these what regime do you suggest to detail this paint and to take it to another level, i was thinking of claying, maybe some very light compound on da in some areas where there are scratches or lines but not swirls, then using pinnacle paint cleansing polish to the max, and then dodo purple haze,
i thought to use only natural wax which will compliment pinnacle paint cleansing polish

or should i not do pinnacle and use car lack AIO sealant?

Bro.....Mubarak on the new car, an MashAllah from the looks of it youve laid yer hands on a gem ! As far as the feel goes...German paint jobs are very tough in comparison with Pkdm or Jdm paint jobs so thats prolly where yer gettin the feel of tough paint from.....Id suggest you first clay the ride......an go with carlack.....hands down....

thanks and no i didn't sell my ellen i still have it but this is my new very own car and ellen is now promoted to university duty instead of just sitting around, will keep posting detailing shots of this one as well

and yes its really a gem but i had to increase my budget for this, in previous budget was only finding bad cars which even in the paint department needed a serious makeover:)

Cleaned with megs apc and dressed with quik interior detailer
The floor matts were pressure washed.

wow looking better than new, feels expensive the way you have treated it and dressed to the max:)

the floor mats driver side could use a little more help:)

The floor matts had that extra patch on the driver side and it had cheap quality glue which gave away. Its pretty clean though.

I`m skeptical about this one.....seriously.......gloss is average.....car is a new edition as well......looks more like keh Ceramic Cermic ho raha hai.....I guess the final coat is due....shayad us wakat koi behtari ajaye....but then again....yer giving a space of 10 days to a coat......preeeeety confident yer previous coat will take on contamination...how are you going to cater to that ? What sort of micron count of protection are we talking about here ? What sort of base prep is involved ? Mind running us through the procedure ? Whats the life span on it ? I mean take this as an example....clayed an polished......see the diff ?

The dash has gone preeety darn glossy nai ? You can see the bottles reflection on it even....gona turn into a darn mirror when yer driving into the sun......but thats just my pref on a matt interior...we`ve had people come in an demand a blinging dash.....possible this go into a matt finish ?

Usman bhai, I never really came around these permanent coatings. Tried many sealants with different receipes. Nothing is permanent in pakistani environemnt. All coatings wear off sooner or later in this environment.
What are your views?
