I'm not a compound fan much. Not more than once after 2 years sometimes more than that. But the last compound i bought was Glasurit and i simply loved it. It's from a German autofinish maker, can be found at a car paint shop for about Rs.950/- its also used by car painters

My cousin bought it. It is actually pretty decent and has a reasonably good suction.
It is available for 700rs at www.autoline.pk

For starters try Kangaroo Cosmic, it is very soft. I started with Kangaroo and then moved to other brands. A hard wax will make you bring scratches and swirls as a starter. Don't use Kiwi again, probably the worst kind available around.

Kangaroo cosmic.. its been said billions of times on the thread..dont use it. Little to no protection or durability.

How can any wax be a cause of swirls at all?
It has no abrasives. Even if you put huge blobs of wax on the paint (which is a completely wrong and different story) you still wont be able to scratch or swirl your paint.

(given that you have clean fresh applicator pads and freshly washed plush mf towels used for waxing only) - which is common sense.

Wash it or leave it dirty thats my policy.

I wash my car every other day. Then i cover it up till the next morning.

it's now 1050 according to the painters this is one of the best compound in the market .I was about to get it but here's the problem that its hard to take it of but i guess using machine would be a better option for the compund stuff .and also a plus point is that this stuff is also found open ..

Bro the yellow Formula1 is one of the most horrible things i have experienced. Cosmic felt okay as a starter but you are right, it feels as if it has some compound element in it.
To be honest I didn't like turtle much, A pain to get rid off and not such a glossy result. Tried BMW hard wax, my oh my the results were absolutely staggering but what a painful workout it was. Shifted to Meguair's (only bought it once) but it gets heavy on the pocket with all this dust, pollution and grit sorrounding us meaning no matter how good the thing is it doesn't last as long as it's price. But the Black Premium is a different story since it's not expensive at all. Its still there on my car exactly 8 days later and despite a Sunday today i didn't wax it today since i felt it wasn't much needed despite the washes during last week. Beading wasn't so bad. I think i'm gonna stick to this one for some long time now. Finally something worth the low price. I'm not at all even thinking of comparing it with Meguiar's BUT, It looks like they tried to make it's copy & NOT A BAD COPY in lower budget.

Bro take a look at this. This photo is shared from their website. Anything that removes fine swirls or scratches would have abrasives in it. If I were you, I would never use a wax from a company that doesn't have a good name. Go for turtle hardshell its not that difficult to remove if you follow the instructions clearly, I have been using it and only had problem in removal once, that too because I waxed it in direct sunlight. Follow the instructions and you'll get superior results from turtle also.

For formula 1, I am referring to the yellow tin, not the premium paste wax. You can try it yourself, try putting a light key scratch on your car and use cosmic on one part of the scratch, formula 1 on one part and a quality wax lets say meguiar's ultimate wax on one part. You will see the scratch disappearing where u have used formula 1 or cosmic, but that will not be the case with Meguiar's. Using these regularly will lead to clearcoat failure, and you'll end up spending a huge amount on getting it repainted. Cosmic is not that abrasive but formula 1 is much more abrasive, it is more of a cleaner wax. Atleast use turtle, its hard shell paste wax is easily available for 500-600, and it lasts for max 10 days, while cosmic lasts just for a day and formula 1 may be 2 or 3 days. Buy less but buy quality. If you still disagree you can always ask Usman bhai @vague_one and Ahmad Bhai @ahmad_yar.

A good quality wax does not stay more than 1 month
Wash it if you see water beading which means wax is still on ur car

Waxes like dodo juice supernatural, DJ light fantastic, all collinites, are bad quality since they last atleast 2-6+ months?

Great. Everyone started with cosmic and formula 1, I had previously used 2 tins on my cars, and once I posted my detail here than i got to know how much damage i had been doing to my car's paint work. Phir bhe mujhe yakeen nahe aya to I used this method, just glided the key over the paint surface, which put a light scratch and then used different waxes phir pata chala keh formula or cosmic asal mein hai kya. Sir aap dodo juice or Chemical Guys enjoy kareen or formula 1 or cosmic ko gaari say boht boht dooooor rakhain.

Removing scratches and swirls by a wax has different concepts. Some actually remove them and in some, Its the gloss that makes them less visible not removes them. I have experienced scratches actually fading with Cosmic, but it didn't happen with F1 Premium. The scratches are there but less visible due to glossiness. Some waxes that are abrasive actually fade them but those which make them less visible is a different thing. As per my experience, The dry hard powdered effects of turtle rather make them prominent and that might be making you think it doesn't remove scratches so it's good.
Talking about a company that makes one thing and can't make any better things, some examples: Suzuki makes both Mehran and Swift, one is superior than the other. Just because an XLi Corolla has wind up windows and no ABS doesn't mean a Prius is the same thing. Eurostars are not good tyres but they are better than General XP and priced half than Yokohama.
I am an Architect by profession and i have designed 10 Marla houses as well as Mega Scale Commercial Projects. Dear Bro, The point is: we can't reject something without trying it just because of any other item that manufacturer makes. Experience rejects verbal claims.

I said good quality
Best quality waxes like in nanoskin brand which ahmad bhai is bringing can last till 3 to 6 months.
Excellent quality waxes like of collonite can last uptil 6 months to 1 year !
