....I as a lead in this project had too much goin on my hand which to a certain extent jeopardized my decision making ability............two factors made this a very very difficult project to handle................firstly the budget, didnt want to overshoot what we had budgeted on an secondly the paint depth........on the rear fenders you could literally see the iron peeking out from beneath the paint.............an that was a very big issue for me to handle................last time I cut a car with a rotary was about 2 years ago...........not that I needed practice just that I was overkill cautious........"better safe than sorry" kept on ringing in my head.......I had nightmares of lifting the rotary to see the cars skin peeking out........I had tapped the car from various points to see the paint depth an it varied sooo much..............my cutting used be done on minimum 5k rpm an I was just tooooo sceptic about the car I had on hand.......the pressure of fouling the paint an actin a complete baffoon infront of the kids was a constant nag in the back of my head.......an sadly my safety margin of only 3k rpm bore a bad effect on the results.............they werent upto mark..............Devil
s apprentice meanwhile joined us an had a go on the fender........an as soon as he held the rotary he showed he also knew how this game was played........I kept on removing the comp from the other side while he did the front fender.........but same result as me..........he was also cautious............time to pull out the big guns............................hit the go baby go switch an called in my team of one.......Arshad.........a dear friend who used to prepare cars with me for selling when we were in the business of it for making dough to get detailing equipment......he has a knack for talking to paint...............pure evil genius when it comes to detailing.........an he lived upto his reputation.............immedately on his arrival an on his first touch the car felt a shiver down it`s spine..................on the very first go we used the heavy duty scrub sent in by Khurum..................Arshad hit the rpm to 5 an set on the fender.............I had a heavy heart an my heart sank........all of us held our breath........complete silence..................arshad was on his best........feeling the paint, telling it "banday da putar ban jaa" an it was listening......very carefully rather...the first fender was prepared in a mere 10 mins, the scrub had worked fabulous, the paint had been treated very nicely....................an we saw our reflections..........sighs of relief............tayyab was standing right next to me an he kept on egging his elbow into me signalling "we got it made man" we got it made!'' Finally the detailing crew was back on track...............with a new spirit in our hearts we set to it, but the electricity had other plans..............it decided to go to some other area an we were left stranded.........a fender done only..............following is the shortened form of what happened.
batti aye, front door kiya, batti gaye
batti aye, rear fender kiya, batti gaye,
batti aye, trunk adhi ki, barish aye.....
then star started to whine he wanted to go get his dog....an we were all dead tired.....called it a day...............tomorrow night the car will be in my house, with arshad an me on it an the detailing will be finished, InshAllah.............the detailing crew will do you proud..............the massis are back in the game.......before @margallar comes here an throws a tantrum, yes he also called mulitple times to check up with us....as well as @Lahori..........................
