6900 for corolla altis 2009 1800cc

and 5900 for corolla Se saloon 2004 1600cc (there was some adjustment regarding previous year tax paid in it ).....

I think the amount in form of income tax which was 4000 out of 6900 can be adjusted in income tax return any one who is not in income tax bracket but can still afford 20 lac car can get refund ...if he files tax return

What do u mean by anyone who is not in income tax bracket. It has nothing to do with income tax bracket, if you are paying your monthly taxes (in case of salaried) then this is the income tax (on car token) that is in addition to the monthly tax cut from the salary. So you can get a refund.
Too bad my current company does not provide this facility, i have to file a refund my self. In my previous company all i had to do is submit the copies of phone bills and car token so that they would adjust the advance income tax i paid on these two.

What's the deal with the lesser money to be paid after the car is 10 years old?

And is it from the date of manufacturing or the date of registration?

Withholding tax exempt on 10 years old registered vehicle, its on date of registration not manufacture.
had paid 8k something on 1965 model cj 6 but registered in 2005

I thought 800cc and below were exempt from Income tax levy in token but someone told me that from this year onwards ICT numbers will be charged income tax on these cars aswell. Can anyone confirm the exact amount of token for a Mehran in Islamabad?

Today I went to PO to pay tax of my 2009 reg car. The master told me that according to rules, you have to get registered your car in any PO within three months time of registration of your car. Now go back to ETO and ask him to re-validate your car's registration book and come back to us for further actions...
I mean WTH with these hidden formalities

Well i have 2009 model car and i gave it for first time they didn't ask me any thing like that i didn't resister and still paid the token.. i am in lahore...why should u get re validation u already paid tax(token) when u got registration car ..Now its new years tax ...it so silly if this is the rule

It used to be 15 days and the ETO office used to put a stamp instructing the people to go to a nearby post office within 15 days after getting their registration book and register it in the post office (no fees involved).

I also faced this as my registration book was kept by bank for a year or so. It did not take any time at ETO office I just went to the designated window and the person there stamped it and then post office accepted it.
