750 provincial Tax

Where u paid token Tax , GPO or some other place , I am paying from last 4 year at GPO , this time visited once around 8:30 , But there are already line of hundreds ppl. , will go again in next week

Is it compulsory to pay the first token tax at GPO Lahore. My GLi was registered in January 2010 and its written on the Registration Book that the token should be paid at GPO Lahore but someone told me that i can be payed at any post office. Please clarify this as I can see many members here have paid token tax for their new vehicles.

Paid Rs: 3000 + 348 = 3348.oo for city 2010. Thanks to my office boy (Tauqeer) stands/spends in line 2 hours at F-10 post office in hotest day (thursday) at 2 p.m.

BuL*S**T by honda, they put wrong 1300cc on invoice ..... thats y one has to pay more token then gli / xli for city idsi 2003 on-words. No cc mentioned in engine bay, chassis plate, etc by honda just to compete corolla xli / gli market with false statement of 1300 cc car !

Paid 3384 Rs for 2006 City.

my car is registered in Islamabad, i have asked from previous owner about the token tax, where to pay? he told me that first go to income tax office, they will give u a receipt and then show it in the post office along with payment and the token will be paid.

is this a correct procedure? what you say?

wrong, check on registration book post office stamp and deposit accordingly.

yeah man, i've heard the same exactly, though i've been paying my car's token at GPO till now, but this time i'll try the Post Office in Shahdarah, as it is quite nearer to my house, so i'll let you know what happens, but i will do it on saturday, now lets c !... coz i went to GPO this monday and there were 100s of people in line for paying token, so i came back

Can i ask y were u not paying the token. Three years token and then fine on that token, the amount seems about right.

bro...i seriously had no idea about this token thing....n my dad has no interest in cars so no guidance at all...i recently got aware after seeing TOKEN TAX ads in newspapers n buzz at pakwheels....

Thanks, do let me know about the token payment at Shahdara post office. And you said you will go there on saturday. Will post office be open on saturday? now a days all government offices remain closed on Saturdays and same is true for banks but I don't know about post offices.
